Ideal weight and sexual discrimination

One of the most touching American business ideas is the thick goods stores, where rope loops are sold, helping to throw a leg into the car, scissors with meter handles for cutting nails on legs, supports for toilet bowls (not to turn them out of the wall under their weight ), extensions for aircraft and car seat belts and, of course, coffins of increased size. Such stores as the Shnobelev Prize: first cause laughter, but then make you think: it's really great when the society worries about the needs of each of its members (not to mention that such devices, except for large coffins, are not useful only fat people, but also the elderly or pregnant).
Nevertheless, it is clear that being very fat is harmful. First, pathological obesity is almost always associated with some or other endocrine disorders - even if they were not the cause of weight gain, they will arise from it. Secondly, to carry this ballast on itself is hard, and it repeatedly increases the burden on the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular system (and insufficient blood supply can already disrupt the work of anything). In general, obese people are more likely (although not severely guaranteed) to have gastrointestinal diseases, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory system diseases, musculoskeletal system diseases, some cancers (especially digestive systems - this is associated with the abuse of fatty foods), violations of the genitourinary system, diseases of the nervous system, eye diseases, decreased quality of life and mental disorders. One of the most typical health problems in fat people is diabetes of the second type. With this disease, cells lose the ability to respond adequately to insulin and take glucose from the blood. As a result, the cells themselves are starving, and the blood is viscous, sweet and sticky, which destroys the walls of the vessels. 90% of people with type 2 diabetes are overweight.
With endocrine disorders in general an interesting story. The fact is that fatty tissue is not just a staple of nutrients, a protective cushion for internal organs and a way to store water (especially if you are a camel), accumulate vitamins or immobilize toxic substances.
It is also an organ of internal secretion. Adipose tissue is capable of producing hormones, and their amount directly depends on the mass of fat stored in the body.
There is a difference between men and women. For men, fat is practically useless, but for women it is absolutely necessary. Leptin, a trivial "satiety hormone", whose concentration in the blood plasma directly depends on the amount of fat deposits in the body, is necessary to maintain the normal functioning of the female reproductive system. In this there is a biological sense: if the supply of nutrients in the body is too small, then there is little chance of a successful gestation - especially in the wild with its irregular intake of food. Therefore, if the leptin level falls below a certain critical value (1.85 μg / L), the woman stops the menstrual cycle and the ability to conceive the child disappears23'24. Conversely, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, in which the production of gonadotropic hormones in the central nervous system is disrupted, can often be cured with injections of leptin.
But that's not all. Fatty tissue also serves as an additional source of female sex hormones - estrogens. It uses an enzyme aromatase, which builds female sex hormones from androgens, male sex hormones. This is not very good even for a woman (on the one hand, an additional estrogen released after menopause slightly reduces the risk of osteoporosis26, but on the other - increases the likelihood of developing breast cancer), but for a man in excess adipose tissue there are no advantages at all. The transformation of male sex hormones into women increases the likelihood of erectile dysfunction and disrupts the normal production of spermatozoa. Moreover, the fat deposits in the lower abdomen also mechanically shorten the penis, they can drown under a couple of centimeters of the working surface. In fact, the length of the penis is of no fundamental importance for the quality of sex, the main erogenous zones of the vagina are still in the first third of it - but purely psychologically, probably, it is pleasant to do sports, knowing that the member is also growing from this. And it's even nicer to tell a man who wants you to lose weight even more, that he himself needs to lose weight in general is much more important.

Ideal weight and sexual discrimination

  1. Price discrimination
Price discrimination is one way to expand the market in a monopoly. A monopolist, who produces less and sells it at a higher price than in pure competition, is deprived of a part of potential buyers who are ready to buy the product if its price were lower than the monopoly price. However, reducing the price to expand sales, the monopolist
  2. Oligopolistic pricing and price discrimination in health care
As noted above, the main sources of market power in health care are administrative barriers, and entry into the industry is limited to the state. The absence of more powerful reasons for increasing the market power of individual firms, low degree of concentration of production leads to the fact that the mechanisms of oligopolistic pricing do not work. The similarity of the oligopolistic structure
  3. Excess weight - extra energy costs
In our time, thanks to the efforts of "calorie-eaters", the basis of nutrition is still made up of foods rich in protein, mostly of animal origin. They are consumed, again, in accordance with pseudoscientific recommendations, much more than is required for the body. Hence the redundancy of body weight, which has become a common phenomenon. Digestion of high-protein foods requires significantly larger

Economic independence, equal opportunities for men to work and earn, realize their professional interests and ambitions are the basis of gender equality in any country of the world. It is no accident that already in the mid-1990s, in our country, the talk about the fact that Russian women as a whole are striving to become housewives, abandoning the Soviet model
  8. Disorder of sexual function and diseases of male genital organs
In bulls, the disorder of sexual function is most often associated with impaired metabolism and neuroendocrine regulation of sexual processes, manifested in a decrease in sexual activity, weakening or inhibition of sexual reflexes, spermiogenesis, a reduction in the quantity and quality of sperm production, and also with improper use and, in some cases, with inflammatory processes in
  9. Sleep and overweight. The more you sleep, the better you lose weight!
Usually, the main defendant in the process of dealing with obesity is food. Indeed, the food is oily, plentiful, idle, certainly, leads to extra pounds. But, as in recent times everything has become clearer and clearer, the matter is far from being just food. Or rather, fat-eating food has accomplices. And one of these accomplices - a bad, short, inferior sleep, lack of sleep. And it was revealed
  10. Nomogram for determining the ideal weight of a child
{foto43} Scale H - height, scale W - body weight of the child, G - deviation from the ideal weight in percent. Combine the ruler with the growth figure and the "0" point on the G scale, then on the weight scale you will find the ideal weight of the child. By combining the value of growth and real weight, you will find the percentage of deviation from
  11. Diseases of female genital organs, sexually transmitted diseases
One of the negative phenomena of our time is the rapid increase in the frequency and number of sexually transmitted diseases. This is facilitated by changes in the orientation of sexual behavior among young people, the widespread use of contraceptives, the expansion of international tourism, prostitution, the resistance of pathogens to antibacterial agents and the absence of etiopathogenetic
  12. Stage 2. Compilation of psychological portraits of "good father" and "ideal man"
Students carry out work on drawing up psychological portraits of the "ideal man" and "good father". They are instructed to: "Rank the qualities of personality described below that characterize the" ideal man ". Do the ranking as follows. First, choose the quality that, in your opinion, is necessary for the "ideal man" to the greatest extent. Deliver
  13. Surgery for genital, genitourinary and intestinal fistula
Fistulas between the genital and adjacent organs in women are called genital. A more complete definition of fistula includes the name of the organs between which they form. All fistulas can be divided into the following groups: sexual (cervical-vaginal, uterine-vaginal); urino-genital (vesical-genital, ureteric-genital, urethro-sexual); intestinal and genital; combined (urine-intestinal-sexual).
