I'm not hysterical, I just have progesterone dropped!

Here, for example, you sit at work and talk in Skype with a young man in whom you are terribly in love and with whom you plan to live happily ever after. But you are somehow anxious that he probably does not love you, and you are trying to draw signs of attention out of him. The young man honestly writes you a paragraph of compliments, but at the same time he notices that he is annoyed by the direct demands about them. And here you begin to really cry! Cutting down Skype! Write him a text message that you have to leave, because you do not approach each other! Write a detailed letter about it! Refuse to meet! Two days later, come to your senses, think: “What was that ?!” and try to establish contact - and you are still very lucky if your interlocutor did not manage to rent an apartment by this moment, fully agreeing with you that yes, you can be happy together.
Not all women come to such tragic manifestations, but the risk of conflicts with those around them is very high. It is a premenstrual syndrome, a completely officially recognized disease included in the International Classification of Diseases. The range of possible symptoms associated with PMS is astounding. Women experience headaches and muscle pain, nausea, pain in the mammary glands, fatigue, insomnia, inadequate hunger, they cannot concentrate, are anxious, irritable, tearful, etc. According to the Medical University in South Carolina, at least one PMS symptom - most often, behavioral disorders - is experienced by 85% of women every month. About 5% suffer from premenstrual dysphoric disorder, the most severe form of PMS, in which a woman is forced to take antidepressants, because otherwise her poor health combined with panic attacks and mood swings deprive her of the ability to work normally and maintain social ties in general.
The causes of all the various physiological symptoms of PMS have not yet been fully investigated, because here a whole complex of factors matter: in addition to the actual changes in hormonal levels in the last days of the menstrual cycle, the individual genetic characteristics of the woman, her diet, the level of stress in her daily life make a big contribution , the amount of alcohol and coffee consumed, and more. But it can already be considered proven that the key role in behavioral shifts in PMS is played by a sharp drop in the level of progesterone before menstruation.
Progesterone is actually needed to prevent uterine contractions. In the middle of the cycle, after the egg leaves the ovary, a yellow body forms in its place, which will produce progesterone for another two weeks. If the egg has been fertilized, the corpus luteum will continue to work, and then its function will be intercepted by the placenta, and the progesterone level will remain high throughout pregnancy. But if a woman does not become pregnant, then the corpus luteum stops its work, the level of progesterone drops sharply, and menstruation begins.
Progesterone itself does not affect the psyche. But on the other hand, it is transformed in the body into allopregnanolone, and this substance acts in the brain on receptors for gamma-amino-butyric acid.

I'm not hysterical, I just have progesterone dropped!

  1. Progesterone function
Progesterone reduces the swelling of the tissues of the mammary glands and uterus, promotes thickening of the fluid that the cervix secretes, and the formation of the so-called mucus plug that closes the cervical canal. In general, progesterone, preparing the uterus for pregnancy, acts in such a way that it is constantly at rest, reduces the number of contractions. In addition, the hormone progesterone
  2. Herpes simplex
Herpes simplex virus (HSV) is a DNA-containing filterable virus. There are HSV-1 - the causative agent of predominantly non-genital forms and HSV-2 - the causative agent of genital forms of the disease. The source of infection is an infected person, both in the period of clinical manifestations and in the period of latent infection. The virus can be isolated from various biological secrets.
  3. I have great difficulty with the concept of responsibility. I was beaten, and I experienced all sorts of hardships. I think I was not always to blame.
What do you say to that? From your question it follows that you consider yourself guilty. You say to yourself: “I didn’t do anything wrong; why did it happen to me then? ”Very often people confuse guilt and responsibility. Your responsibility for what happened to you lies in your ability to state that the life you have lived was not easy, and, most importantly, in the understanding that everything
  4. Recently, I was robbed, and I do not understand how this can come from me, given that I have never stolen anything from anyone. Waiting for your explanations.
Are you sure that you never took anything from anyone? Look at what is bothering you the most in this paint. They often say to me: “What worries me most is that they invaded my privacy, that someone else was digging into my things.” If this is your case, are you sure that you never dug into someone’s personal life or didn’t want to do it? Or that they never stole
  5. Subject: Simplest
Classification of the simplest. Pathogens for humans protozoa. Morphology, physiology, ecology, development cycles
  6. The simplest and viruses
Relatively recently, viruses have been detected in the protozoa of the forerunners - Trichomonas vaginalis, Giardia lamblia, Leishmania braziliensis, Eimeria spp. and Babesia spp. All these viruses have similar properties, namely, they contain two-stranded RNA, the size of which is 5–7 kb, and have a spherical or icosahedral shape with a diameter of 30–40 nm. Of the simplest viruses, better
  7. Parasitic protozoa.
Parasitic species are unevenly distributed across individual systematic groups of Protozoa. Types of Sporozoa, Cnidosporidia are fully represented by parasites, among Sarcodina there are only a small number of parasitic amoebas. Quite a lot of parasitic modified groups are found among ciliates. In flagellates, whole groups have passed to the parasitic way of life, sometimes very numerous
  8. Simple or detailed?
You can look at any thing simply. Perhaps the idea is presented with perfect accuracy and with all the details *, but we should be able to quickly grasp its essence (whatever it is). It is in this that the beauty of a simple picture expresses itself: since we can quickly understand, we must just as quickly determine whether it makes sense or not **. * Just because of simplicity, something is not yet
  9. Simple decision making
A simple choice of two alternatives is known as the dyadic solution (from the Latin word dyas, which means “two”). Dyadic solutions are the first step in putting things in order, say, in the list of your priorities. Dyadic solutions are solutions according to the type of evaluation of alternative qualities and include the following simple types of choice: yes / no; better / worse; stronger / weaker; more
  10. Simple dyspepsia
SIMPLE DYSPEPSIA - an acute digestive disorder of a functional nature, characterized by vomiting, diarrhea without significant disruption of the general condition. ETIOLOGY. In the etiology, the alimentary factor, defects in care (overheating, violation of the feeding regimen), as well as infectious factors (most often - E. coli) are leading. Predisposing factors are: early artificial
  11. Plain. Shingles.
Simple vesicular and herpes zoster. Herpes simplex. A recurrent disease characterized by the appearance of a rash of vesicles on an erythematous base with the development of erosion. Often joins secondary infection with staphylococci or streptococci. With the help of a sample of Tsank (scraping from the base of a fresh bubble after an incision of its dome), giant multinucleated cells are detected.
  12. Herpes simplex
Infection of herpes simplex is clinically manifested by the defeat of many organs and tissues, accompanied by the appearance of grouped blistering eruptions on the skin and mucous membranes. It has a tendency to a long latent course with periodic relapses. Etiology. The herpes simplex virus contains DNA, multiplies well in the tissues of the chicken embryo in the yolk sac, causes the characteristic
  13. Simple salads
According to Leslie Powell, an English naturopath, “there are a dozen recipes for one penny, and most of them, which can be obtained through normal channels, cause a sensation of anxiety in people with nutritional issues: so often they contradict Nature, are exquisite by artificiality, are acts of culinary sabotage and leading, in all likelihood, to indigestion. "" Usually, it adds

  16. SIMPLE VULVECTOMY
This operation is shown in cases where the existing lesions of the vulva cannot be eliminated by conservative treatment or by local excision. These include common forms of vulvar carcinoma (in situ or micro-invasive), Paget's disease and common leukoplakia. Simple vulvectomy, unlike radical, does not require the removal of all tissues to the fascia of the perineum. Before
  17. 2. EASY SHUNTS
Simple shunts are pathological messages between the right and left halves of the heart, which are not combined with other defects. Normally, the pressure in the left parts of the heart is higher, so most often the discharge occurs from left to right, so that blood flow through the right parts of the heart and the pulmonary vessels increases. At a certain size and localization of the pathological message, high pressure of the left
  18. . SIMPLE HERPES VIRUSES
Lawrence Corey (Lawrence Corey) Definition. Herpes simplex viruses (HSV-1; HSV-2) (Herpesvirus hominis) cause a variety of infectious diseases affecting the mucous membranes and skin, the central nervous system, and sometimes the internal organs. The creation of effective antiviral drugs affecting HSV increased the clinical significance of the rapid recognition of this
