Convenient positions

You can use a variety of convenient and practical provisions for feeding your baby.

In the first months of a child's life, try to feed him at least once a day in each of the three positions: sitting, lying, standing. This will help to smooth the emptying of all the lobes of the breast. And if the milk lobule is regularly completely emptied, then the milk comes into it regularly and in full. Especially it's important to know those mothers who suffer from a lack of milk.

Positions of sitting

^ The most popular position is the "cradle".

Mom hugs the kid with both hands, pressing it to his belly. In this case, the mouth of the crumb should be at the level of the areola of the chest, and the elbow of the mother's hand, which supports its head, - lean on the pillow (armrest, the edge of the table). Make sure that the child is not placed side by side with you, but your face. The back of the kid should be even. The child should neither hunch nor lean back. It is very important for effective sucking the correct position of the baby at the breast. Often, the mother, giving the baby a breast, leans forward instead of drawing him to her. This creates an additional strain on the muscles of the neck and back. And then poor mother has to keep the baby at the breast not until the well-fed baby releases the nipple himself, and until her tense shoulders and neck finally numb. Therefore, it is so important to get comfortable. If necessary, you can put a pillow on your mom's lap that will lift the baby to the breast level, and put a soft support for the waist behind your mother's back and lean back for complete relaxation. In this position it is convenient to feed, sitting in a chair, on the edge of a sofa with an armrest, on a low stool and sitting on the floor in Turkish. When the baby grows up, he can sit half-sitting (reclining), so that his ass lies on your knees.

^ Another sitting position is "from under the arm" or "from the armpit" (in English-speaking countries this provision is called "soccer ball").

Sit comfortably on the couch. Place two large curvy pillows under your elbow. Between the pillow and the armpit, place the child with the legs to the back of the couch.

It turns out that the baby's head peeks out from your armpit, as if you really hold a football in your hand.

It is in this position that you can quickly and effectively teach a baby to take the breast correctly, do not twist the head, slip out of Mom's hands, and do not lose the breast during sucking. Many moms love this pose for the opportunity to look at the baby in the eyes and see his look. This situation is best when you need to cure abrasions or cracks on the nipples. When sucking the main load will move slightly away from the sore spot, you will get a breather, and cracks will soon heal. Of course, at the same time it is necessary to find out and eliminate the cause of cracks as soon as possible. In addition, in the "soccer ball" position, the upper outer lobes of the mammary glands are very well emptied, which most often suffer from stagnant milk. If you regularly feed from under your arm, you will never experience stagnation or infection in traditionally problem areas.

The most common mistake when feeding from under the arm is that the mother grasps the head of the crumb with her fingers. Most newborns panic if they fix a head. The kid begins to cry, tries to free himself. It's not up to feeding here.

The lying

These provisions are especially relevant at the first time after childbirth, when the baby sucks in the breast for a long time, and the mother's body needs rest and recovery. Such poses are most often chosen by women whose birth was not easy (for example, if there are sutures on the crotch of the young mother), and the doctor forbade her to sit.

In this position, the best result is achieved for emptying the breast, since the mother is as relaxed as possible and the milk flows normally.

So, if you are properly settled, then you will feel such ease in the whole body, like floating in the clouds.

Convenient positions

  1. We serve the breast comfortably.
On how we give the baby a breast, in many ways depends, whether he will grab the nipple circle deeply or close the jaws on the nipple (ouch!). To help the child, we need to squeeze the chest a little, and squeeze in a certain plane. Imagine that you were treated to a large, thick, lush pie. And you are very hungry and want to bite off immediately a bigger piece. To do this, you squeeze the cake, so that in your mouth
  2. Safe and comfortable exercises during breastfeeding
When your body belongs to both you and your child, you should take good care of it. Express the milk before training. Before training, make a long feeding. Thanks to this you not only calm the child, but also bring comfort to yourself. Some women think that doing sports with a breastfed breast is uncomfortable. Maintain your breasts. Put on
  3. INCORRECT POSITION OF THE FRUIT OF OPERATION, CORRECTING THE POSITIONS OF FRUIT. OBSTETRIC TURNINGS EXTRACTION OF FRUIT FOR THE BREAST END
ANOMALIES POSITIONS OF FRUIT The position of the fetus is called correct when the axis (length) of the fetus coincides with the axis of the uterus. If the axis of the fetus crosses the axis of the uterus at any angle, an incorrect position of the fetus occurs, in which the course of labor becomes dangerous for the mother and fetus. The wrong positions include the transverse and oblique positions of the fetus. The transverse position of the fetus is
The transverse position of the fetus is
  5. Hips wrong position
Causes An inappropriate position of the fetus in the uterus or during childbirth. The cause may be a genetic predisposition, and the wrong position of the thigh is more common in women than in men. Congenital abnormal position of the femur may occur in children of primiparous women. Symptoms The asymmetrical arrangement of the folds on the legs of a child, the impossibility of putting a child
  6. Provisions to be protected
    1. Regulations on the concept of mental states of military seamen in long voyages in the formulation: the mental state of military seamen is a relatively independent group of stable mental phenomena that manifest themselves in their spirituality and are formed in the process of information adaptation at a higher mental level of reflection on the basis of the psychic paradigm .
  7. The position of the patient on the operating table
The change in the position of the body affects the function of various systems of the body, and in diseases these effects can be intensified. For example, most people tolerate getting up in bed in the morning, but with a limited heart reserve, it can lead to dizziness or even fainting. General and regional anesthesia suppresses compensatory reactions to changes in body position. Exist
  8. The position of the patient on the operating table
Although most operations on the posterior cranial fossa are performed in the patient's side position (modified position) or on the abdomen, the sitting position is preferably to remove large and medially located tumors, as well as to improve the outflow of venous blood and cerebrospinal fluid from the cranial cavity. Regardless of the position of the patient, his head is always located above the level of the heart.
  9. CROSS-AND-CROSS POSITIONS OF FRUIT
The transverse and oblique positions of the fetus refer to the wrong positions and occur on average in 0.5-0.7% of the total number of genera. In contrast to the longitudinal position, the fetal axis forms a straight or acute angle with the longitudinal axis of the uterus, the anterior part is absent. In oblique fetal position, the lowest part (head or pelvic end) is located below the line connecting the iliac crests
  10. Feeding in the wrong position
It happens that the child does not grasp the breast sufficiently and sucks the nipple. This phenomenon is called "sucking sucking" and serves as a common cause of problems with breastfeeding. If the child sucks only the nipple: Mother can experience pain The child draws the nipple wrong and rubs his skin. If the child continues to suck in the wrong position, it can damage the skin
  11. Lateral and oblique fetal position
The transverse and oblique position of the fetus is observed in about 0.5-0.7% of cases in relation to the total number of births. They are referred to incorrect positions. The axis of the fetus forms a straight or acute angle with the longitudinal axis of the uterus, and the fetus does not have a presenting part. In the oblique position of the fetus, the head or pelvic end is located below the line passing through the crests of the iliac bones. For a transverse
  12. Anomalies of fetal position and presentation
Anomalies of fetal position and presentation are associated with an increased risk of complications and deaths from the mother and fetus, as well as with the frequent need for anesthesia. Posterior position of the occipital presentation The most favorable for delivery through the natural birth canal is the anterior position of the occipital presentation, when the fetal head passes the pelvic cavity with the smallest diameter. Violation
  13. General Provisions
The rules are mandatory in the design of new and reconstruction of existing enterprises (and workshops) in all industries (except mining and coal), transport, construction and agriculture, and in the design and construction of new and modern equipment; regulate the basic provisions of occupational health and presuppose the development of
  14. General Provisions
At present, the concept of imbalance of mediator-modulator systems is formulated as one of the main pathogenetic factors in the formation of clinical polymorphism of motor disorders. It was shown that with rigid syndromes, the activity of dopaminergic is reduced and the activity of the cholinergic system is increased, which is accompanied by an appropriate imbalance of cyclic nucleotides and
  15. General Provisions
A frequent cause of cerebral palsy is considered to be prematurity (Eggers, S. Hallbeym, 1984; SJGaskill, AEMerlin, 1993; KA Semenova, 1968, 1972, etc.), detected in anamnesis in 1/3 patients (AHBowley, L.Gardner , 1980; R.Behrman, V. Vaughan, 1987) and usually associated with a low body weight. According to many authors (Perinatal pathology, 1984), low body weight is the main cause of perinatal mortality,
  16. The position of the patient on the operating table
Most operations are performed in the position of the patient on the stomach. The position on the back (with head tracing) with the front approach to the cervical spine facilitates the work of the anesthesiologist, but increases the risk of damage to the trachea, esophagus, recurrent laryngeal nerve, cervical sympathetic trunk, carotid artery and jugular vein. Sometimes they operate in the position of the patient sitting or on their side. After
  17. Anomalies of the position of female genital organs
The normal position of the female genital organs is provided by a suspending, fixing and supporting ligament apparatus, mutual support and regulation of the pressure by the diaphragm, the abdominal press, and its own tone (hormonal influences). Violation of these factors by inflammatory processes, traumatic injuries or tumors contributes and determines their abnormal position.
