Acme: content role, specificity of manifestation. Acme in the personal development of a person

The phenomenon of acme and its main characteristics

Adulthood in all manifestations of its natural and social nature of a person turns out to be the peak in its development, followed by old age, old age, which are characterized by a gradual decrease in physical health, weakening civic activity, reduction in the volume and content of parental responsibilities, and exclusion from professional work.

With this understanding, acme is the entire stage of human maturity, for which, judging by it in general terms, its physical, personal and subjective maturity are characteristic.

At the same time, in acmeology, the concept of “acme” is used in a narrower sense, when we mean the highest level of health achieved by a person during his life, when his behavior as a person turns out to be relatively bright for him, having a positive social significance, and when his activity as a subject finds expression in the maximum possible for him and receives the material or spiritual embodiment of the concrete result of his work.

Finally, in works that examine the development of man in ontogenesis, especially when they want to emphasize the role of man himself in building his development according to the best option, the term acme is used in one more meaning - peaks or optimums that a person manages to achieve in his development at different ages the steps.

The substantive and formal characteristics of acme in people who often work in various fields of work are very different from each other in the most significant ways.

Of course, in everyday reality, such a finale is absolutely real for an individual and for certain communities.
But, as you know, both man and many communities often accumulate the potential for development in more than one direction during their life. Having reached the development of one of their hypostases, they continue to move upward, but in a new quality. With a favorable combination of objective circumstances productively associated with them, they also often rise to the next level in their development. Then again, depending on the particular set of new circumstances in which the person or community finds itself, as well as on specific features

their appearance as subjects of individual or collective action, their development continues in the same direction leads to a new acme.

Thus, when they analyze the acme achieved by people in more depth, first of all, they try to determine its meaningful characteristics and, first of all, in what areas of their development a particular person reached it: developing physically, manifesting himself as a person, acting as a professional or with a high level of aggregate objectification of all these developmental characteristics. Secondly, figuratively speaking, the magnitude of the acme achieved or its caliber is established. Thirdly, such indicators are distinguished as the time a person acme reached and its duration.

As opposed to genuine acme, which expresses the highest level of human development, which manifests itself in an optimal state of health for him, in actions that are extraordinary for him, which are contributions to the values of life and culture, some people may experience pseudo-acme or part of acme to be valid, genuine acme.
