Acmeologist as a subject of activity in the acmeological service

Consideration of an acmeologist as a subject of activity within the framework of an acmeological service involves an appeal to his duties, responsibilities, rights, as well as personal and professional characteristics.

In his professional activity, an acmeologist is required to:

- be guided by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, government and regulatory documents regulating the activities of the relevant structures within which the acmeological service operates;

- consider issues and make decisions strictly within the framework of their professional competence;

- work at the level of the latest achievements of acmeological science, human resources; apply modern science-based methods; constantly improve their professional qualifications;

- impede the conduct of psychological and acmeological work by incompetent persons who do not have the appropriate professional training;

- conduct an experiment, experimental work only on the basis of valid techniques and a conceptually sound program:

Acmeologist has the right:

- independently formulate specific tasks of work corresponding to professional competence, choose forms and methods for their implementation, decide on the sequence of various types of work and identify priority areas;

- demand from the administration and higher authorities to create the conditions necessary for the successful performance of professional duties;

- refuse to fulfill the orders of the administration in those cases when these orders are contrary to the humane principles of acmeological science and practice;

- get acquainted with the necessary documentation;

- apply with requests to various state organizations for information related to his field of activity;

- participate in the development of new methods used in all areas of the service, assess their effectiveness;

- conduct research, including experimental work;

- make an analysis and generalizations of their work experience in scientific and popular science magazines, newspapers, radio and television;

- conduct propaganda of psychological and acmeological knowledge. The acmeologist is responsible for:

- for the correctness of the acmeological and psychological diagnosis, prognosis, the adequacy of the used diagnostic and correction methods, the validity of the recommendations issued;

- for the preservation of documentation and materials of the service, their design in the prescribed manner;

- for the high-quality and timely implementation of the instructions of higher psychological-acmeological structures and the provision of the required reporting.

To organize the work of an acmeologist, an acmeological office is created, which should provide the necessary conditions for carrying out the main activities of a specialist of the profile in question. For this, it should be equipped with appropriate equipment: a set of diagnostic techniques, forms, equipment for psycho-diagnostics, processing of research results, video and audio equipment.

The acmeological service is a form of acmetechnological support for the person’s personal and professional development. It can be created at various levels of government: federal, regional, municipal and primary.

The acmeological service uses both diagnostic and developing acmetechnologies in its work.
The basis for the selection of diagnostic tools is the concept of assessing the personal and professional development of a specialist in a particular field. The selection of developing acmetechnology can be based on subject-professional personality substructures.
