Comprehensive study of human development at the stage of adulthood

Acmeology, as mentioned above, studies the phenomenology, patterns and mechanisms of human development at the stage of his adulthood, and especially when he reaches the highest level in this development, which usually means his maturity quality.

The degree of maturity of a person and the so-called peak of this maturity, or, as it is also called, acme, is a multidimensional state of a person, which, although it covers a significant period of time in his life, always shows how much he has taken place as a citizen, as a specialist-worker in a certain field of activity, as a poor or rich person with his connections with the surrounding reality, as a spouse, parent, but at the same time is never a static entity and, on the contrary, differs by a greater or nshey variability and variability.

As a rule, it constantly carries typical characteristics and undergoes restructuring within the framework of the maturity parameters of the components related to the physical state of a person. And the same moving unity of the content specificity and the form of its expression can always be traced in a person at the maturity stage, when he manifests himself as a citizen, and as a person, and as a subject of activity, and as a spouse, and as a parent.

It is clear that in order to holistically understand a person as an “owner”, as a “bearer” of all these of his “hypostases”, to comprehend the complexity of the dependencies between them, it is necessary to unify the results of a study of a mature person obtained in studies conducted from the standpoint of different sciences.

The integration of data obtained with this approach to the study of man is an unusually difficult process and required the creation of a special methodology, as well as the technique of scientifically correct pairing with each other.

Consistent reliance on them made it possible to establish that the physical maturity of a person, his mental maturity, which is expressed in the formation of his mind, feelings, will, his personal maturity, which, of course, is dependent on intelligence and will, but mainly manifests itself in his relations, his maturity as a subject, which is manifested primarily in abilities, are connected with each other in the closest way.
At the same time, it turns out that, as a rule, there is no frontally simultaneous achievement of the maturity level by all blocks of formations in which a person acts as an individual (living organism), as a person and as a subject of activities, and further, already at the stage of maturity itself, in a person different rates of occurrence of changes in the named entities are also observed.

The time to reach the “acme” level of a person as an individual, as a person and as a subject of creative activity very often does not coincide, or we can only talk about relative coincidence.

Acmeology comprehensively illuminates the features of this most important stage that a person goes through in his development - the stage of maturity. It determines the similar and different in it for different people and, in the same vein, clarifies for them the uniqueness of the action of factors that determine the individual picture of maturity. And, of course, the most important place in these acmeological works is tracing the nature of the mutual influence of the properties and qualities of the "physical" and "spiritual" "substances" of a person.

The state of maturity does not appear in a person unexpectedly and immediately. The whole previous human life “works” on him and on what it is. Not only the natural predisposition, but also the life already lived, to a greater extent depends on what margin of physical strength a person will approach the stage of maturity, what value orientations and relationships will make up the core of his personality and what abilities, as well as what stock of knowledge, skills will characterize him as a subject of activity when he becomes an adult.

Upon transition to the maturity stage, human health may be close to normal, or may be burdened by chronic diseases. Actualizing his motives may correspond to the essence of universal values, or pseudo-values may stand behind them. And in the types of activities on which its existence depends, it may turn out to be helpless, not infantile in age or, conversely, productively active not only at the reproductive, but also at the creative level.
