PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS HELPING HUMAN REACH ACME, AND THE ROLE IN THEIR FORMATION OF SELF-DEVELOPMENT FACTOR

A comparison of the psychological characteristics of people who managed to achieve outstanding results in the civilian and professional fields, and those whose personal and subjective-activity achievements look very modest, reveals in the former, as subjects of knowledge, work, communication, a group of qualities that make clear the reasons for their bright acme .

So, the distinctive features of their cognitive sphere are: an active reflection of reality and the ability to navigate it well.

Thanks to the productive working intellect, they at a high level of objectivity fix all the main connections in this reality, impartially subordinate the processes that take place in it in terms of importance. In the pictures of the world that they form at the same time, all that is essential in the surrounding natural and social environments is captured.

Demonstrating a rare ability to simultaneously be in the stream of life and to be outside it, not to be bogged down in their own experiences, but, having understood their reasons, to be above them, they demonstrate in each situation that arises on their life's path the ability to find the optimal solution and the ability to implement it.

And this their advantage mainly manifests itself in the main area of professional work for them. Relying on their experience, reason and feelings, rather than mossy traditions, and very carefully assessing the opinions of other people and the positions of authorities, they formulate large-scale goals for themselves. Without escaping responsibility for the consequences, they are not afraid, for their achievement, to go along untracked and often insecure ways. Being obsessed with the implementation of the plan that seized them, they concentrate their physical and mental strength on its implementation, thus realizing their creative potential. And with their enthusiasm, organically coupled with the deep justification of the plan and the accuracy of the strategy, tactics and techniques of translating it into real achievements, they ignite other people, turning them into like-minded people and associates.

After what has just been said, it's time to try to name their characteristics, which are most often manifested in their sphere of communication. Thanks to a developed social intellect and a steady desire for objectivity, they are inherent in accepting themselves and others as they are, immediacy in actions and sincerity in expressing their thoughts and feelings, open and honest behavior in all situations, rejection of conventions, but unaccompanied by rude forms attempts to ignore them.

In the sphere of the main professional work for them, they tend to establish friendly people who are their employees and conscientiously fulfill their duties, for whom the interests of the business do not recede into the background. The same friendly attitude towards people is typical for them and beyond the scope of their professional work. They are not conformal and are not afraid to become unpopular and be condemned for unconventional views, even if this condemnation comes from higher bosses and can negatively affect their career.

Convinced of the importance not only for them, but for all people of the results that will be obtained after the implementation of their plans, they can be and, as a rule, are tough in relation to their opponents and actively overcome their resistance.

If we summarize all of the above about people who deserve to reach great heights in their civic and professional growth, then these are people of sober intelligence and the same “smart” feelings, encouraged to build and realize life prospects deeply mastered by them universal values and who know how to realize their ambitious goals .

If we now try to understand the external and internal determinants that clearly determine the formation of the type of people that has just been brought to the attention of the reader, then the enormous significance in achieving a peak in a person’s development, the expression of which is his undoubted physical health, high moral maturity of his personality and genuinely deep professionalism is mainly a form of labor for him, which, along with fairly traditional factors - family, school, vocational school, university, the general situation in a large society, has etc. -. Own work over a person serving as a development of it himself as an individual, the person, the subject of activity.

As you know, the implementation by parents, teachers in different types of upbringing interaction with a child, adolescent, youth of the requirement "do as I do" does not mean the achievement of a psychologically effective effect in education. Education is truly productive only when it prompts the person to whom it is directed to constant self-development. And this means the continuous activation of the work of the inner world of a person, the formation of his habit of letting through every new impression through a system of criteria created by himself for the social and personal significance of the essence of these impressions, and independently entering their content into the hierarchy of knowledge of that holistic picture of the world that he managed to take shape, as well as his own correction of this knowledge under the influence of these impressions for one reason or another.

At the same time, a genuine and consistently ongoing process of self-development, as a rule, occurs only among those people who are set up to achieve precisely large-scale goals in their life. This forces them to work directed on the development of such individual, personal, and subject-activity characteristics that are directly related to physical health, the development of relationships and abilities, which together turn out to be one of the prerequisites for the implementation of life goals.

At the same time, large-scale goals are usually not carried by abstract people who formed them. They are most often specified depending on the features of that community, which is positively subjectively significant for the person and in which the latter would like to gain respect and authority, and also they are determined by the specifics of the field of professional labor in which the person would like to reach the peak of professionalism.

Moreover, the community named above does not necessarily represent some small group to which a person belongs or which he “created” and “settled” in his mind as his ideal. It can be a country where a person is a citizen, and even all of humanity, and the field of professional labor is politics, economics, technology, science, military affairs, education, healthcare, art, and any field of production or some other sphere in which a person through his continuous deeds can rise to the level of the Master.

The very process of self-development, which, as has been said, depends on the goal towards which a person "behaves" himself, in the overwhelming majority of cases, both psychologically and in everyday life, often has the appearance of a simple and easy one for this person and may seem the non-determinate (although in fact, of course, this is not so) conditions in which it occurs, since in reality each person’s circumstances most often develop in such a way that in situations arising every day and having both ordinary and UPE extraordinary character, he is free to behave in different ways, as well as venture into dissimilar acts, and therefore equally likely to get the optimal and suboptimal results. After all, out of several possible ways of behavior in these circumstances, he is usually able to realize either in action or in deed only one way. What he specifically chooses in each case depends on his ability to assess the situation in general and in detail, and on his ability to anticipate the consequences of his action or deed, and, of course, on his personality’s personality, which always makes him more inclined to some decisions and less inclined to others.

And thus, the intellectual operations performed by him and the experiences that arise at the same time and the result of both of them - the practical action works for the business he is engaged in, and at the same time for progress or regression of its development or give a neutral result.

If now we try to disclose the content of the concept of development progress, this will mean: 1) changes in the motivational sphere of a person in which universal values begin to be reflected more strongly than before;

2) an increase in the ability at the level of intelligence to plan and then carry out in practice precisely those acts and perform those actions that correspond to the spirit of these values;

3) the emergence of a greater ability to mobilize oneself to overcome difficulties of an objective nature, which hinder the exercise of independence and committing acts in accordance with these values; 4) a more objective assessment of their strengths and weaknesses and the degree of their readiness for new more complex acts and responsible acts.

Of course, enumerating the changes signifying the development of the human psychic world, in which he plays a significant role, we designated these changes not very scientifically rigorously.
But in reality, each of them is undergoing qualitative restructuring in mental processes and their interconnections, the emergence of new persistent characteristics in a person’s mental states, which begin to positively influence the process of gaining new mental properties in the personality by the latter.

Noting these neoplasms that a person acquires in his self-development, it is also absolutely necessary to point out that the most important moment characterizing this process is that it does not unfold at the same pace and with the achievement of equally high results in relation to all manifestations by a person of himself as individual, personality and subject of activity. And even if we take into account each of these hypostases of a person individually, we will certainly encounter the phenomenon of uneven or heterochronous development of their structural elements and their totality, the progress of their functions and their effectiveness (B.G. Ananyev). At the same time, the development of some of them is very often, as we know, a condition for launching development to a higher level of others. For example, the persistent manifestation of achievement motivation makes a person more persistent in his attempts to achieve his goal and, thus, as everyday practice testifies, favorable conditions are created for the development of his abilities.

If the psychological essence of the given example is more generally expressed, then it is as follows: positive changes in a person’s personality (in his motivational sphere) became a condition of his movement along an ascending subject of activity due to the further development of his abilities. And having reached a higher level of development than before, his abilities allow a person to commit larger-scale and original in their originality actions, which are often accompanied by an experience of success. And the last, however, it is necessary to make an adjustment for the type of personality, arising, in turn, has a beneficial effect on the person’s motivational sphere, which actively encourages him to solve more difficult tasks than those that he had previously solved.

Of course, stating all this, one should not forget for a minute that the nature of personal manifestations noted above and the development and realization of abilities associated with it always occur in a person who is at the same time an individual who has the corresponding health, and therefore ability to work.

This circumstance has to be recalled, because in many works dealing with the development and self-development of the human mental world, the role of the state of his body and, in particular, the state of his nervous system in funding the intensity and effectiveness of these processes are completely forgotten.

Bearing in mind the person’s self-development, which manifests itself in the achievement of ever new and qualitatively higher levels of productivity of each mental process individually, as well as their interaction, the result of which is the successful solution of the increasingly complex life tasks that he sets for himself, one must always see at the same time that this self-development mentioned above always has two interconnected aspects: the person facing outward and, as it were, turned inward. A clear vision of the goals and the ways of their implementation and the corresponding motivation and organization to translate them into specific actions and acts of intelligence, will and feelings are necessarily accompanied by adequate mobilization and organization by the person’s self-regulation and self-control of the work of his senses, motor skills, his condition, self-consciousness in general.

Moreover, these self-regulation and self-control of people who love their job, really passionate about the implementation of their creative ideas, do not have the nature of violence against themselves or some kind of formalized drill.

The conviction not only of the personal importance of the goals that they realize in their activities and the peculiar state of “anticipation of victory” that arises at the same time makes the self-regulation and self-control mentioned above natural and fulfilled without noticeable tension.

If we consider the described phenomenology of self-development in a slightly different light, then a person, as a person and as a subject of activity, striving through his actions and deeds to achieve goals that are really significant for society, actually weaned to exist at the level of his mundane everyday everyday “I” and more and more increasingly guided by the dictates of his higher "I". And this, as a rule, is accompanied before making responsible decisions or after committing acts in the absence of time to think about the upcoming action by intensifying his “dialogues” with images of significant and authoritative persons recreated by his imagination, embodying his moral and professional ideals, or dialogues with oneself, and in essence, in both cases, with one’s conscience.

Such dialogues are a vivid testimony of the work of the inner world of a person and a manifestation of his inherent tendency to act and act not with a kondachka, not in this very momentary mood, but, so to speak, proceeding from higher principles and without losing sight of the big goal for which he through his daily affairs he is trying to get closer.

The readers of what was written must have a question-doubt: is not the person recreated above, who reaches great heights in his personal and professional development, an overly abstract model, and how many people among us who, figuratively speaking, do not allow our soul to be lazy and actually constantly self-developing? Is not all this an attempt to pass off wishful thinking?

To this I answer this way: as you know, the general exists only in the separate and through the separate and, of course, the moment of distraction from the concrete in the generalization presented above is present. Nevertheless, this generalization captures the totality of the basic features inherent in a very specific type of people. It seems to illuminate some important features of the work of their inner world. When this text was born, before the mental gaze of its author all the time there were such outstanding our fellow citizens as M.V. Keldysh, S.P. Korolev, I.V. Kurchatov, K.K. Rokossovsky ...
