The theoretical significance of the research results

As a result of the dissertation research, an important scientific problem of higher school was solved in theoretical and scientific-practical terms - the formation of professional competence among students and specialists with higher technical education, which was not previously the subject of independent study in psychology, pedagogy and acmeology. The psychological and acmeological concept of the formation of professional competence is developed, the structural components of the professional competence of a specialist are identified, the levels of competency formation corresponding to the levels of professional activity are determined. The conditions and factors contributing to the formation of professional competence of a specialist in a university and in production are highlighted. This study opens up new opportunities for theoretical, experimental and applied research in the implementation of the competency-based approach in the field of pedagogy, psychology, acmeology, training specialists in the system of continuing professional education.

One of the theoretical results that can be used in further psychological, pedagogical and acmeological studies is the consideration of the professional competence of a specialist with higher technical education as a systematic characteristic of a person and the identification of its components that are universal for innovative professional activity, and elements (models of competency), having a flexible structure, which is influenced by professional specifics.

The conceptual theoretical and methodological apparatus has been expanded by introducing new categories and clarifying existing concepts. In particular, the concept of “professional competence of a specialist with higher technical education” and the levels of “professional competence” are clarified.

The dependence of the effectiveness of professional activity on the availability and level of formation of professional skills, the level of development of professionally significant personality traits is established. Based on the results obtained, the structure of professional competence is determined and competency models of specialists and managers are developed.

Structural and functional components of the acmeological systems "university" and "production" are highlighted.

The strategy of forming professional competence of students in the educational system "Professionally Oriented Creative Independent Work" is theoretically grounded and experimentally confirmed.

Theoretical approaches to the development of methods for the formation of professional competence using computer technologies and simulation tools used in the development of nanotechnology are formulated.

It is established that in the process of forming professional competence and mastering professional activity models, a certain style of thinking develops.

Acmeological factors and optimal conditions are identified that contribute to the development of professional competence of a specialist in the system of educational, scientific and industrial integration.

The data obtained as a result of the study on personal and professional development (professional and personal qualities, professional skills, thinking style, etc.) of a specialist in a university and in production significantly expand our ideas about the patterns of human mental development under the influence of factors such as education and self-education, upbringing and self-education in their interconnections and unity.

The problem of the formation of professional competence of a specialist in the system of educational, scientific and industrial integration was solved at the scientific, theoretical and practical levels, and methods for developing competence were developed. The theoretical significance of the research is also determined by the fact that it opens up wide opportunities for new research, important for the implementation of the competency-based approach in the system of continuing professional education.
