Kligunenko EN Acute blood loss is a condition of the body that occurs after bleeding and is characterized by the development of adaptive and pathological reactions clinically manifested by shock. The article describes the main principles of intensive therapy of shock caused by the loss of whole blood, using modern blood substitutes such as hydroxyethyl starches and perfluorane (non-hemoglobin oxygen carrier based on perfluorocarbons).
