Step 4. Summing up the lessons

Purpose: To analyze students' personal ability to resist gender manipulation.

Within one lesson, it is difficult to devote enough time to studying the problem of manipulation confrontation. However, at the conclusion of the lesson, this must be done. To do this, the teacher at the end of the session asks the students the question: "What contributes to the opposition of gender manipulation / how to adequately (constructively, civilizedly) resist gender manipulation" and invites students to answer it, based on their knowledge of theory or practice. The teacher answers the answers briefly on the blackboard, if necessary, correcting the answers.
Teacher's summary: the ability to resist gender manipulation and not become a manipulator is itself based on the observance of two conditions - the ability to communicate constructively and the ability to orient oneself in gender issues.

Control questions

1. Define gender manipulation.

2. List the factors that contribute to the emergence of gender manipulation.

3. Uncover the role of gender stereotypes in manipulative influence.

4. Give an example of gender manipulation and constructive opposition to it.
