Introduction

The urgency of the problems of the formation and development of children, the conditions and factors of the labor process, the nutritional characteristics of the population at the present stage of development of society and medicine is undeniable. The risk of an increase in the number of diseases is due to the increased consumption of energy-rich foods, the influence of adverse working and living conditions of a person. At the same time, the population as a whole has a lower level of motor activity, a room-office style of work, a car transport movement instead of the natural one, with preservation of the previous nutritional model and violation of the basic principles and laws of nutrition. Hypodynamia is accompanied by physiological muscular atrophy, a decrease in the adaptive capacity of the organism and an increase in the number of diseases of the cardiovascular system, the gastrointestinal tract, the musculoskeletal system, and metabolic processes.

Measures to improve the quality of the indoor environment, working conditions and the organization of the workplace are taken into account at the stage of preventive sanitary supervision: architectural planning, engineering, technological, organizational, environmental and legal measures. Environmental passports of enterprises are being introduced; not only workplaces are being certified, but also places of rest, study, rehabilitation, treatment, permanent or temporary accommodation and stay of people.

Hygiene has a specific, preventive focus - to prevent or weaken the effect of harmful and dangerous factors through the regulation at the state level, preventive and current sanitary supervision and legislation.

Tests on general hygiene in sections: “Hygiene of children and adolescents”, “Food Hygiene”, “Occupational Hygiene” will allow the student to assess their knowledge and identify shortcomings in: hygienic norms and rules of accommodation, stay, working conditions of people in enclosed spaces of various purposes (medical, educational, industrial) and on the open areas for heat, light, air and other factors.
They will also allow to master the basic principles and laws of rational nutrition, methods for assessing the adequacy and nutritional status of the population, to correct the diet of the population, which is very important especially in children and adolescents, because the level of health and the basic capabilities of an adult organism are laid in this period.
