Diagnostics of figurative and logical memory

The technique of “Memory for images”

Designed to study figurative memory. The technique is used in professional selection. The essence of the method lies in the fact that the subject is exposed to a table with 16 images for 20 s. Images must be remembered and reproduced on the form within 1 minute.

Instruction: “You will be presented with a table with images. Your task is to remember as many images as possible in 20 seconds. In 20 seconds the table will be removed, and you will have to sketch or write down verbally those images that you remember. ”

Evaluation of the test results is carried out according to the number of correctly reproduced images.

Norma - 6 correct answers and more.

Stimulus material

Methodology: “The meaningfulness of perception in memorization”

SERIES A

Material. Pairs of words to remember: a doll - to play, a chicken - an egg, scissors - to cut, a horse - hay, a book - to teach, a butterfly - a fly, a brush - teeth, a drum - a pioneer, snow - winter, a cock - screaming, ink - a notebook, a cow - milk, steam locomotive - go, pear - fruit compote, lamp - evening.

The course of experience.
Students read out the words. They should try to remember them in pairs. Then the teacher reads only the first word of each pair, and students write the second.

When checking slowly read a couple of words. If the second word is spelled correctly, then put "+", if it is incorrect or not written at all - put "-".

SERIES B

Material. Pairs of words to remember: bug - chair, translation, glasses - mistake, bell - memory, dove - father, watering can - tram, comb - wind, boots - cauldron, castle - mother, match - sheep, grater - sea, skates - plant , fish - fire, ax - jelly.

The course of experience. The nature of the presentation and verification are the same as in series A. After the experiment, the number of remembered words for each series is compared and students answer the questions: “Why are the words of series B worse remembered? Have you tried to relate the words of series B? ”

Conclusion: for the success of memorization, it is necessary to include material in a system that reflects objective relationships.

Diagnostics of figurative and logical memory

  1. Classification of memory impairment. Types of memory impairment in various diseases of GM
MEMORY AND ITS VIOLATIONS. Memory is a special kind of psychic d-ti, connected with the perception, retention and reproduction of information. Memory is not only biological, but also psychological. All biological systems have memory mechanisms (fixation, storage, reading). Memory characteristics: - the duration and formation of traces - the strength and duration of the retention of events - the amount captured
  2. We solve logic problems
The solution of any problem to one degree or another is based on reasoning. But such problems are especially attractive in which the main, decisive role is played by the correct construction of a chain of exact, sometimes very subtle considerations. Tasks of this kind also develop mathematical thinking, but are rather logical, as they teach to reason, analyze, and make people search for unconventional ways
  3. Mastering logical forms of thinking
Prerequisites for the development of logical forms of thinking. As was said, the prerequisites for the development of logical thinking, the assimilation of actions with words, numbers as with signs replacing real objects and situations, are laid at the end of early childhood, when a sign consciousness function begins to form in the child. At this time, he begins to understand that the subject can be designated, replaced with
  4. Evolution of logical systems (principles) of ventilation apparatus control
The basic concept of controlling the ventilator using feedback is currently represented by five different control principles: 1. Setpoint control. 2. Auto-setpoint control. 3. Servo control. 4. Adaptive control. 5. Optimal control. Based on these principles (methods or systems) of control, several dozen seemingly different ventilation modes have been created. Sorted out in
  5. The reality of figurative systems
Mankind in its history has generated a special reality that developed along with the objective world - the reality of figurative-sign systems. A sign is any material sensually perceived element of reality that acts in a certain meaning and is used to store and transmit some ideal information about what lies beyond this material formation. Sign
  6. The development of imaginative thinking of a preschooler
Figurative thinking is the main type of thinking of a preschool child. In the simplest forms, it appears already in early: childhood, showing up in solving a narrow circle of practical problems related to the subject activity of the child, using the simplest tools. By the beginning of preschool age, children solve in the mind only those tasks in which the action performed by a hand or a tool is directly aimed at
  7. FORMING A J-SHAPED OIL SEAL RIP ON THE FOOT
The J-shaped omentum flap through its non-irradiated vessels helps to ensure blood supply during the formation of intestinal anastomoses, during plastic surgery of the cystic-vaginal-rectal fistulas, during the creation of the pelvic floor after removal of the pelvic organs and during the formation of the cylinder of the new vagina. The meaning of the operation is to form a gland flap by cutting it off the stomach, but with preservation
  8. Memory mechanisms
Education of a person, and of any other creature, is carried out thanks to the memory, which, according to the "father of Russian physiology" I. Sechenov, is the "cornerstone of mental development." Sechenov also has another winged expression that is directly related to mnemonics, that is, to the technique of memorization: “The doctrine of the basic conditions of memory is a doctrine of the power uniting,
  9. FORMATION OF THE VAGINA FROM THE J-SHAPED SEAL RIP
Operations to create a new vagina for many years are common. Mclndoe described the surgical procedure for cases where both the bladder and rectum are in their usual places (see chap. 2, p. 91). But this technique is unacceptable for patients who underwent complete pelvic exenteration with subsequent colorectostomy or without it. For such cases, Berek and Hacker
  10. Various storage facilities
Based on the work with patients suffering from various brain injuries, the researchers suggested that both explicit and implicit memory manifest in various forms. This is shown in fig. 8.11. {foto149} Fig. 8.11. Estimated classification of various memory stores. Squire et al. (Squire et al., 1990) offer several different memory systems. Main difference
  11. WIDE LOCAL EXECTION OF VULVA WITH PRIMARY CLOSURE OF DEFECT Z-SHAPED SKIN FLAP
Wide local excision of the vulva is indicated for women with microinvasive carcinoma or in situ carcinoma of the vulva. The purpose of the operation is to remove the carcinoma itself and another 2 cm of healthy skin surrounding the pathological focus. Prior to the operation, the surgeon must use a ruler to measure the boundaries of the upcoming incision and mark them with a marker; this will ensure confidence in the completeness of the volume excised
