Professional development of the personality of a student psychologist

the development of a professional is a process of acquiring new opportunities for professional activity, but this is not only about “technical” opportunities - knowledge, skills: a professional is a person, and, therefore, the conversation is about personality development. A completely natural question is where to look for the source of professional development. Of course, one of them is the external environment - for example, in a learning environment? it is quite natural that the knowledge presented by teachers, the tasks they offer, etc. The true development of personality is, first of all, self-development ?, determined not by external influences as such, but by the internal position of the person himself.

The development of the subject is possible only in the process of transforming the world and himself.
Such development is not carried out by itself, not as natural growth, but as a complex and difficult process to overcome the problems that arise. The ability to overcome difficulties and resolve contradictions, thus, becomes one of the most important features of the subject of activity. The subject is constantly becoming in the process of moving towards excellence, and perfection - as an unattainable goal - allows the subject to set the vital tasks of transformation and self-development again and again.
