Requirements for ensuring the quality of the educational process

HR requirements

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the university should:

? have a higher education that matches the profile of the taught disciplines, and, as a rule, an appropriate scientific qualification (degree, rank);

? systematically engage in scientific and (or) scientific and methodological activities;

? at least 1 time in 5 years to undergo continuing education.

Requirements for educational and methodological support

Educational and methodological support for specialist training must meet the following requirements:

? all disciplines of the curriculum should be provided with: educational and methodological documentation for all types of training sessions; educational, methodological, reference and scientific literature; infobases and access to network sources of information; visual aids, multimedia, audio, video materials.

? to provide access for each student to library collections and databases corresponding in content to the complete list of curriculum disciplines;

? to have teaching aids and recommendations on the studied disciplines and all types of educational activities, including independent work of students.

Educational and methodological support should be focused on the development and implementation of innovative educational systems and technologies in the educational process that are adequate to the competent approach in preparing a university graduate (variable models of controlled independent work of students, educational and methodical complexes, modular and rating training systems, test and other systems assessing students' competencies, etc.).

Logistics Requirements

? Higher educational institution should have:

? the material and technical base corresponding to sanitary-technical standards, ensuring the implementation of laboratory, practical and research work of students, which are provided for by the curriculum;

? comply with the standards of educational and methodological literature;

? display time for 1 student per year for at least 50 hours.

? to provide material and technical conditions for self-education and development of the student’s personality, for which it is necessary to have reading rooms, computer classes, halls for physical education, in accordance with standards, including during extracurricular times; food items.

Equipment should provide laboratory and practical work in academic disciplines in accordance with the curriculum.

Requirements for the organization and provision of independent work of students

Students' independent work is a type of controlled independent work of students performed in the absence of a teacher (in a library, computer lab, science laboratory, at home, etc.), controlled by the student himself, and at a certain stage of training, by the teacher. Constant control over the quality of the student’s independent work is carried out.

The organization of independent work of students is aimed at solving the following problems:

a) consolidation, generalization and repetition of the training material; application of acquired knowledge in standard situations and in solving problems of a high level of uncertainty;

b) improving skills in the studied disciplines; the formation of intersubject, research skills;

c) the intensification of the educational and research activities of students, its maximum individualization, taking into account the psychophysical characteristics, academic performance of students;

d) the formation of students' readiness for self-education throughout life.

The ratio of classroom and extracurricular independent work of students is determined taking into account the availability, accessibility and quality of the educational and methodological, material and technical support of the educational process, the level of complexity and volume of the studied discipline.

Requirements for the organization of ideological and educational work

The ideological and educational work of students is organized in accordance with the normative and program-methodological support of the educational process at the university, the Regulation on ideological and educational work developed and approved by the university taking into account the requirements and recommendations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The most important principles of educational work with students are:

? consistency of requirements for the content and methods of training and education of students providing educational and social activity;

? involvement of students in socially significant work, which contributes to the acquisition by students of organizational, managerial, communicative skills, experience in solving problems, shaping their civic position, their acceptance of moral values ​​and cultural and historical traditions of the Belarusian people;

? civic-patriotic and spiritual-moral education, knowledge of the cultural heritage, crime prevention.

The goal of ideological and educational work is the formation and development of students' value orientations, norms and rules of behavior based on state ideology, ideas of humanism, kindness and justice. The graduate must have civic maturity, legal and political culture, respect for the law and respect for the social values ​​of the rule of law, the honor and dignity of the citizen.

The formation of a unified process of training and education includes educational work, the professional orientation of the educational work of graduating departments, the educational work of all departments, the activities of the institute of curators of educational groups, faculty and university events, educational work in student dormitories, the development of student self-government, methodological support educational process.

General requirements for education quality control and diagnostic tools

Qualitative indicators of the training of students (graduates) are determined by this standard and are represented by competency groups (paragraph 6).

General requirements for monitoring the quality of education and diagnostic tools for educational results are established in accordance with the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Education.

Assessment of student knowledge on coursework and state exams, differentiated coursework tests, while protecting coursework projects (works), passing tests by practice, protecting diploma works (projects) is done on a 10-point scale.

Assessment of students' academic achievements, carried out in stages for specific modules (sections) of the academic discipline, is carried out by the department in accordance with the selected grading scale.

The following diagnostic tools are used to control the quality of education:

? assessment of the solution of typical tasks;

? tests on individual sections of the discipline and the discipline as a whole;

? written examinations;

? oral interview during classes;

? compilation of essays on individual sections of the discipline;

? student presentations at seminars on topics they have developed;

? protection of course projects (works);

? protection of field reports;

? a written exam;

? oral exam;

? defense of the thesis (project).
