What are drugs

In accordance with the Federal Law “On Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances”, narcotic drugs are understood to be substances of synthetic or natural origin, preparations, plants included in the List of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors to be controlled in the Russian Federation, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation Federation, international treaties of the Russian Federation, including the Unified Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961.

To drugs, certain substances are usually treated according to the following criteria:

• the ability to cause euphoria (high spirits) or, at least, pleasant subjective experiences;

• the ability to cause addiction (mental and physical) - that is, the desire to use the drug again and again;

• significant harm to the mental and physical health of persons who regularly consume them;

• the possibility of a wide distribution of these substances among the population;

• The consumption of the specified substance should not be traditional in the given cultural environment.

Drug Classification:

1. Cannabis derivatives (drugs made from hemp).

2. Opiate drugs (drugs made from poppy or acting in a manner similar to it).

3. Hypnotic sedative drugs.

4. Psychostimulants.

5. Hallucinogens.

6. Volatile narcotic active substances (LDND).

Circumstances contributing to drug sharing and increasing the risk of drug addiction:

1. Pregnancy pathology (that is, severe toxicosis and infectious or severe chronic diseases suffered by the mother during pregnancy).

2. Complicated childbirth (prolonged, with birth injury or with hypoxia of the newborn).

3. Severe or chronic diseases suffered in childhood.

4. Concussions of the brain (especially multiple).

5. Incomplete family.

6. Strong employment of parents.

7. The absence of brothers and sisters.

8. Alcoholism or drug addiction in any of the close relatives or close people.

9. Mental illness, serious nature or frequent violations of generally accepted rules of behavior in any of close relatives.

10. The early (12 - 13 years) beginning of an independent life and premature release from custody of parents.

11. Distorted family relationships leading to the misuse of social roles.

12. Easy and uncontrolled access to money and a lack of understanding of how they get it.

13. The early start of alcohol use, abuse of volatile narcotic substances (glue “Moment”, solvents, gasoline, etc.).

Under the influence of these factors, one way or another, a person’s deformation of the person occurs, an inadequate value system is formed, the level of claims is reduced, and “emptiness” appears, leading to rejection.
Under the influence of medical factors, a weakened body is often not able to withstand the negative effects of the environment, to find the strength to overcome difficult life situations. A man is trying to find his own way of avoiding solving problems, which, at first, allows you to make a drug. Many are exposed to these factors, and such people, who have not even become drug addicts, always have a higher risk of developing the disease right up to the stage of dependence after a single drug use.

There is a medical classification of the stages of drug addiction. It is based on an analysis of the manifestations of various forms of addiction - social, mental and physical.

People talk about social addiction when a person has not yet started using drugs, but is spinning around among people who use them, accepts their behavior, attitude to drugs and the group’s external attributes. He is internally ready to start using it himself. Often you can belong to such a group only by professing its principles and obeying its rules. An essential condition for this stage of the disease is the presence of a group that can form even around one who uses drugs.

After the start of drug use, a person develops a mental dependence. It manifests itself in the fact that a person seeks to return again to the state that he experienced while being intoxicated. He seeks to either get a pleasant sensation from taking drugs, which can be very strong, or, being under the influence of drugs, to distract from unpleasant experiences and negative emotions. In the first case, a person, being deprived of the opportunity to take drugs, perceives reality as “gray”, not dynamic enough and alive, in the second, it turns out to be suppressed by problems, from which he tried to escape by resorting to drug use. The desire to avoid psychological and emotional discomfort is so strong that a person is not able to refuse to continue to use them.

With longer drug use, a physical dependence forms, which appears as a result of the inclusion of the drug in the metabolic process. In this case, upon termination of the intake, a state of physical discomfort of varying severity is observed - from mild malaise to severe manifestations of withdrawal symptoms. Its specific symptoms depend on the type of drug and on the characteristics of the human body. Depending on the stage of the disease, the frequency of drug use also changes - from the period of samples through episodic use to systematic. However, systematic use is not necessarily associated with the presence of physical dependence, but may begin much earlier.

What are drugs

  1. What to do if you think you have a drug problem
    First, learn to recognize drugs and their symptoms. Secondly, trust your intuition. If you have a feeling that a subordinate is experimenting with drugs, this may be true. 2. What the commander needs to know about drugs
    Currently, 5 main groups of narcotic substances can be distinguished, these are: 1. Opiates - drugs obtained from opium poppy or its synthetic substitutes. They cause a state of euphoria and are characterized by a very high degree of formation of physical and mental dependence. These include: opium, morphine, heroin, codeine, etc. 2. Depressants - substances that soothe or inhibit
  3. What is a trigger, or how does the ventilator know that it is time to start a breath?

Currently, various parameters can be used to enable inspiration: 1. Time. 2. The pressure. 3. The flow. 4. Volume. 5. An electrical impulse passing through the phrenic nerve. 6. Signal from the intraesophageal pressure transducer. 7.
  4. What is an addict?
    There are medications that are usually prescribed by doctors in very small doses. The most famous of them is the juice of the eastern poppy variety. After the operation, the doctor reassures the patient by giving him an injection of morphine, weighing about a quarter of wheat grain. This is enough to make the average person fall asleep even with severe pain. Some people find poppy-derived foods very enjoyable and begin to take

  7. What is a person?
    Man is a brightly colored energy system full of dynamic aspirations. Like any energy system, he is constantly trying to come to rest. He is forced to do this. For this, energy serves; its mysterious function is to restore its own balance. Man is structured in such a way that, in any internal or external incident, sooner or later he must
  8. What is intuition?
    The following is a true description of some personal experiences and does not claim any other meaning. Intuition is an Acquisition
  9. What is precancer?
    Who is the author of the term "precancer" is still unknown. Different authors name different surnames of the inventor of this term. According to T. Venkei and J. Sugar (1962), it was first encountered in the work of dermatologist V. Dubreil (1896). It is still unclear what precancer is. In terms of meaning and meaning, the precancer must meet two criteria: always precede the cancer and turn into cancer inevitably, i.e. in
  10. WHAT IS INFERTILITY
    Let's start with a scientific definition. Infertility (lat. - sterilitas) is the lack of fertility in women (female infertility) and in men (male infertility). Some more statistics. In these technologies, creative (divergent) thinking is opposed
  13. What is observation
    Sometimes there are people who are not used to being careful since childhood. They look around but see little. Here we are confronted with a second cause of distraction - lack of habit of observing. If you ask your classmates in detail, remember and describe in detail something from memory (for example, a visit to the assembly hall, where meetings are usually held), it turns out that for some
  14. What is hypnosis?
    An Indian yogi once demonstrated before the Calcutta Medical Society that he is able to stop his heartbeat. Doctors suspected some trick; they placed this man in front of the x-ray machine and began to observe his heart through a fluoroscope.
