Components of the socio-psychological structure of a military collective

The socio-psychological description of the military collective is the compilation of a detailed (oral or written) description of its main components based on the study.

The psychologist studies the following main components of the socio-psychological structure of the team:

1. Composition (quantitative and qualitative composition).

2. The dynamics of group activity: group socio-psychological processes, communication and intra-collective behavior of individual members of the team [Appendix 3].

3. The dynamic structure of the group (collective):

a) the structure of functional-role relationships (activity dimension):

- the formal status level of organizational and staff roles;

- level of real interaction;

b) communication structure (communicative dimension);

c) the structure of emotional interpersonal preferences (sociometric measurement): intragroup and interpersonal roles;

- moral and psychological climate;

- interpersonal relationships (behavioral component of the climate);

- group opinion (cognitive component);

- group mood (emotional component).

The socio-psychological structure of the military collective includes the same components as any form of community of people engaged in joint activities.
The psychology of the life and work of a military collective can only be understood if one studies the characteristics of the entire system of components of its socio-psychological structure.
