Description of the essence of the psychological unity of the military collective (group).

In the historical sense, the term cohesion has been widely used and can be interpreted semantically in the Russian language as unity, community, unanimity and unanimity of a group of people. But the military forerunner of solidarity - the concept of rallying the ranks of fighters - i.e. to cling to each other with shoulders, to become, as it were, one whole organism in the face of danger.

True cohesion, in fact, is that almost never achievable result of the development of relations between warriors, which are called collectivist. It is generally believed that such relationships are realized in three main, closely related areas of joint activity:

1. moral and political;

2. military professional;

3. interpersonal household.

Cohesion is realized in these areas at the objective and subjective levels.

Moral and political unity is objectively realized in a common worldview of warriors, their knowledge, attitudes and beliefs, needs, goals, motives and attitudes towards joint military activity. Differences in views on politics, religion, morality, various concepts of values, goodness, justice can become an insurmountable barrier to the establishment of moral and political unity of the crew. And, on the contrary, value-orientation community in many ways smooths out the roughness of relationships in all areas of joint activity.

Subjectively, moral and political unity is actualized in the mutual trust of crew members as like-minded people who deliberately collaborate in the name of achieving a common goal. In the military professional sphere, cohesion manifests itself as combat harmony, coherence, cohesion, and cohesion. Fulfillment of functional duties in the crew contributes to a kind of grinding in of socio-psychological differences, their mutual reduction. As a result, mutual understanding improves, the percentage of actions and decisions unexpected in joint activities decreases, confidence in the partner, his skill and reliability appear, and, consequently, the effectiveness of joint combat activities increases. Crew members can use the same skills and abilities, they form the same habits, and outwardly they largely copy each other.

In the interpersonal-everyday sphere, cohesion manifests itself as psychological compatibility, objectively realizing itself in a conflict-free communication in a domestic, out-of-office setting, when warriors engage in sports sections, attend amateur art clubs, libraries, go on firing, etc.
Subjectively, psychological compatibility is manifested in the mutual emotional satisfaction of partners with each other. A great influence on the formation of psychological compatibility is exerted by the moral and political unity and combat harmony of the soldiers, because the specific gravity of the moral, political and military professional spheres of activity is decisive in the structure of the army service, in the structure of interpersonal relations. However, much in psychological compatibility also depends on the specifics of the interpersonal-everyday sphere, where the influence of natural circumstances is sometimes difficult to account for and control by officials.

The main areas of activity of a military psychologist in uniting military collectives (groups).

The main directions of crew cohesion and combat crews can be characterized on the basis of the socio-psychological concept of cohesion with the identification of its leading components such as moral and political unity, combat harmony and psychological compatibility. In accordance with it, the following areas of activity for commanders, their educational deputies, and military psychologists include:

1. optimization of relationships in the moral and political sphere;

2. the formation of combat harmony of crew members;

3. improvement of psychological compatibility.

The optimization of relations in the moral and political sphere with the aim of creating moral and political unity by many authors is recognized as the leading direction of rallying military crews and combat crews.

The static premises of moral and political unity include slowly changing worldviews and beliefs of a warrior.

In the term moral and political unity, through logical reasoning, the main stages of its achievement can be distinguished:

1. This is, first of all, an assessment of the level of development and substantial characteristics of the worldview of each of the crew members.

2. Comparison of the political, moral, religious and other positions of each of the partners, as a result of which the degree of their identity, the absence of fundamental differences in the views and beliefs of soldiers on the mission of the army, on the need for armed defense of the fatherland, the improvement of military skill, and the strengthening of military discipline and etc.

3. This is a transformation of community in views into a subjective feeling of mutual trust of crew members as a like-minded person

Conclusions: Summing up, it can be noted that rallying the crew is a delicate matter, requiring the participation of not only commanders, their educational deputies, military psychologists and personnel workers, but also an active attitude towards this work by the crew and combat crews.
