INTRODUCTION

The manual is intended to fill the shortage of educational literature necessary to increase the professional psychological and pedagogical competence of teachers of higher military schools. The training of teachers for universities of the Federal Agency for Government Communications and Information is carried out today, as a rule, in the system of their professional education (training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, various continuing education and retraining courses, through the exchange of best practices), as well as in the framework of self-education. Little special literature is published for these purposes, which generally does not contribute to improving the quality of professional training of specialists for higher military schools.

The authors took into account the experience of the creators of such publications and prepared a textbook that meets state requirements for minimum content and the level of professional training for specialists to receive additional qualifications “Higher School Teacher”. This is reflected in the content and in its structural construction. The manual was developed in accordance with the curriculum of the course "Psychology and Pedagogy of the Higher Military School" for adjuncts and the curriculum of the course "Introduction to the Pedagogical Profession" for students of the Faculty of Further Education and Further Training of the FAPSI Academy.

As the methodological basis for the preparation of the textbook, the approaches considered in the works of modern domestic pedagogical researchers V.
S. Avanesov, V. P. Bespalko, V. N. Gerasimov, V. P. Davydov, A. A. Derkach, N. V. Kuzmina, I. A. Lipsky, V. G. Mikhailovsky, N. D. Nikandrova, P. And Pidkasisty, I.P. Podlasoi, V. A. Slastenin, S. A. Smirnov, N. V. Talyzina, V. A. Yakunin and others.

The novelty of the book is given by the inclusion in its content of a section that highlights the features of the design, construction and application of professionally-oriented teaching technologies in a military university. Along with this, the content of the chapters includes innovative pedagogical information designed to open up the space of scientific research for teachers and encourage them to be included in the process of pedagogical creativity.

The structure of the manual consists of three sections, each of which has a completely independent purpose. Self-control over the formation of pedagogical knowledge is provided at the end of each chapter of the manual with a system of questions and assignments that correct the process of assimilation of educational material.

The authors believe that the content of the manual will be used creatively to solve multifaceted pedagogical problems in a military university, since scientific research, active mastery of modern psychological and pedagogical theory and practice are the basis that can ensure the relevance of the provisions set forth in the book.
