One of the main principles of separate nutrition is the balance of food consumed by the chemical reaction and the maintenance of the acid-base balance necessary for the body's life due to food intake.
Now it is already known that acids and alkalis enter the internal environment of the body in two ways: through food and due to their formation during metabolism. As a result of the digestion of some products, acids are formed, therefore, they are classified as "acid-forming", and when others are digested, alkalis, therefore, they are among the "alkali-forming" food products.
The conversion of the former are urea and uric acid. They are secreted through the kidneys. With abundant consumption of acid-forming products, the body can come to acidification. This division alone speaks volumes. So, if lunch consists of a meat dish, in addition to which cottage cheese with sour cream is eaten and coffee (all acid-forming products) is consumed, this can lead to acidification of the body, which, as you know, is a real threat of disease.
There are several links between the nature of nutrition and peroxidation.
First of all, it is the consumption of unnatural products, i.e. processed in an industrial way. For example, white bread or sweets break down in the body into carbon dioxide. For their digestion, alkali-forming mineral substances are needed. They would have to maintain the acid-base balance. But, undergoing the metabolic process, they are neutralized and can no longer maintain alkaline balance.
Constipation also leads to acidification, as a result of which rot and fermentation occur in the intestine. The wrong selection of food contributes to this. As a result, there is an overload of the digestive organs and a delay in digestion, and consequently, the formation of acids and subsequent decay.
Alkaline food cleanses the body, creates a normal environment, when digested, forms a small amount of waste, and acidic food, on the contrary, is more difficult to digest, slags the body. Two-thirds of alkaline and one-third of acidic foods - only with such a balance of nutrition will the body be protected from dangerous supersaturation with acid.
The regulation of acid-base balance is carried out primarily due to the correct, consistent combination of acid-forming and alkali-forming foods.
An alkaline excess can also be obtained through the use of strongly alkali-forming root crops, in particular potatoes or carrots.
