Commentary on the concept of imaginary drugs
This theory is something close to the idea of the main food factor and is that individual products are endowed with exceptional healing properties. Based on its incredible value, this product or substance is unjustifiably exalted, advertised and recommended for all people and from all diseases. Periodically, some imaginary drugs are overthrown, others replace them. Due to psychological peculiarities, a person is ready to believe in the possibility of the emergence of a panacea medicine and is often inclined not to pay attention to its doubtfulness. Of course, in some food products contain substances with a sufficiently high therapeutic activity, but the healing properties of some products are attributed unreasonably.
Here are some examples of such imaginary drugs.
The Swiss doctor Schmidt, in pursuit of a sensation, expressed the mind-blowing hypothesis about the participation of plant hormones (auxins) in regulating the activity of the human body. As a source of such hormones, he recommended germinated wheat grains. This idea has become very popular all over the world. Of course, sprouted grains contain a number of vitamins and dietary fibers, due to which they have a beneficial effect on the body, but this is known even without Schmidt. And in it, alas, there is nothing innovative. The real novelty was the fact that scientific studies have shown that germinated grains do not stimulate growth even in rats.
And there is nothing surprising in this. Auxins as hormonal substances of plants, tropny are related only to plants, in other words, they can influence only plant cells, but not animal and human cells. This, to our great happiness, protects the human body from foreign information.
Otherwise, the tissues of the human body would not distinguish their own hormones from others, which would lead to numerous failures in the streamlined mechanism of regulation of human activity.
At one time there was a fashion for quail eggs, which allegedly contain substances that rejuvenate the body. It has now been proven that quail eggs have no similar healing properties.
A little later, the hypothesis of the existence of anticancer vitamin B17 (lastril) was debunked. And what a stir the Estonian hydrolysates AU-8 and I-1 caused in their time! What was the advertisement! They were consumed in large numbers by sick and suffering people, but they did not manage to identify the expressed therapeutic effect, and now if someone remembers them, it is only as a scam that was a success.
These are just some examples of the fact that certain foods or substances were endowed with magical healing properties. But time and scientific research put everything in its place. And although this is very sad, it should be recognized that there is not and cannot be a panacea for old age and disease. Our body is too complex, and it is doubtful that any product or substance, even with very useful properties, could significantly affect the coordinated activity of its organs and systems. To create miraculous foods that alone would solve all the problems of our mortal flesh, Mother Nature has not yet learned. On the other hand, she created them in abundance, but each of them becomes truly “healing” only in the presence of many others.

Commentary on the concept of imaginary drugs
- Commentary on the concept of ancestral nutrition
Adherents of this theory believe that initially a person is adapted only to this type of food, which is inherited from distant ancestors. This concept of nutrition is adhered to, in particular, by supporters of raw food and dry food. Although each of these areas is based on similar ideas, their representatives are antagonistic to each other. Raw foodists do not recognize those who are fascinated with dry milk, and
- Commentary on the concept of absolutization optimality
Proponents of this theory are trying to create a diet through some universal formula of the ideal ratio of food. This diet should be the best approach at once for all aspects of the life of the human body. Knowing the formula of an ideal diet, you can restrict yourself to a set of only these products. What a savings and rationality! There is no need to grow a lot of plants and
- Comment on the concept of nutritional value indices
The essence of this concept is that various food products are attributed to certain quantitative quantities characterizing the chemical components of the product. Due to this, the value of food or the entire diet can be expressed by an index obtained by adding these quantities. In this case, the qualitatively different components of the diet are considered interchangeable, which is what creates
- Commentary on the concept of the main food factor
Fans of this theory believe that the body must be fully provided with some one or more nutritional factors, and all other components of food are either secondary or simply not needed. Naturally, with this approach, not only secondary substrates disappear from the diet, but also some indispensable nutrients. That the concept of the main food factor is contrived and
- PERSPECTIVE ACMEOLOGICAL CONCEPTS: A SITUATIVE-PERSONAL-ACTIVE-CONCEPT AND THE CONCEPT OF CUMMULATIVE-FACTOR REASONS
The construction of acmeological testing systems, the study of personality is based on a number of theoretical concepts and concepts. The most important of these is the concept of cumulative-factorial causes and the situational-personal-activity concept. The connection between them is very close. The concept of cumulative-factor reasons comes from the fact that determinism in psychology is based on cumulation
1 The word "nature" in this edition translated Arabic mizaj - "confusion." This refers to the study of the four primary elements that make up dense and liquid organic bodies and their individual parts, which was later justified by Hippocrates, later developed in more detail by peripatetics. According to Galen, on which Ibn Sina is based, these elements and their inherent qualities are nowhere

- Commentary on Macrobiotics
The principles of nutrition have always been reflected in the philosophies and medical practice of the peoples of the East. Built on the relationship between spirit and matter, it is significantly different from European health systems, based on the principles of natural hygiene. Title

- The negative effect of drugs

- Drug metabolism
It is estimated that approximately 2% of all cases of jaundice in hospitalized patients are of medicinal origin. There are two phases of drug metabolism in the liver. The first is cytochrome P450-associated redox reactions that modify drugs. The second phase involves the conjugation of drugs with water-soluble substances, such as glucuronic
