Where do toxins come from?

The results of the research indicate that in every modern person in the body in measurable quantities there are several hundred synthetic chemicals. These contaminants did not exist until the beginning of the twentieth century and played no part in the chemistry of the body. It can be safely assumed that we are all burdened by a toxic burden as a result of the action of synthetic substances - pesticides, phthalates (a chemical used in the industry for plastic and cosmetic production - Ed.), Mercury, trans fats, benzene. Exotoxins have names that are scary enough to cause people to avoid them. Today it is already well known that what we do not know is capable of harming us.
To understand how we are exposed to toxins, we need to imagine four layers separating our internal chemistry from the rest of the universe, as if we had four shells.
The first shell is what separates our blood, tissues, organs from the external world; this is the extreme line of our physical body, the outer layer of cells. To the unaided eye, it can seem like a reliable barrier and a means of isolation, even protection. But under the microscope, the fallibility of this impression becomes obvious, since the first shell is in constant motion, choosing that from the environment it is necessary to reject and what to seize and absorb. It also throws out what's inside no longer needed. The first shell contains cells of two types, forming the integument of the body, depending on their location.
Epithelial cells. Epithelial cells (dry, hard) are visible under the magnifying glass. They form what we usually call skin. When this part of our first shell gets sick, we go to the dermatologist. The main source of toxins that penetrate the body through the skin are the cosmetic and hygiene products we use. Watch for what you rub into your skin or splash on it. Do you read the labels on the labels? It is necessary to perceive cosmetics as food.
Ideally, you need to use a means that are safe when they get into the mouth and then into the digestive tract, because, like food, they subsequently enter the bloodstream. Choosing these funds, should be guided by the composition rather than the promised effect. This information is not a secret.
Doctors often prescribe creams, gels and ointments, with the help of which therapeutic agents are introduced into the body through the skin.
A toxin is something that disrupts the normal course of physiological processes and has a negative effect on the body's functions

Dyes, fragrances, foaming agents, heavy metals as stabilizers, tannins, inks, alcohols and hundreds of other potential poisons are often added to cosmetics. Varnish for nails and hair, lipstick, deodorants - all the traditional accessories of your bathroom and cosmetic bag, as well as the nearest beauty salon contain chemical compounds that do not exist in nature. They are capable of causing irritation, allergy and hypersensitivity in the same way as food products. A group of chemicals that make up hair care and skin care products, called "parabens," causes disruption in the endocrine system. Many deodorants contain aluminum, which prevents sweating. It causes double damage: promotes the penetration of chemicals into the body and clogs pores that are designed to remove toxins.
The water we water ourselves in the shower is absorbed by the skin and enters the circulatory system, just like the water we drink. A significant part of the tap water contains chlorine,
which disinfects it, preventing the multiplication of pathogenic bacteria. However, along with pathogenic bacteria, this water kills the intestinal microflora. The results of recent studies indicate that tap water contains increasingly noticeable concentrations of drugs, such as antidepressants, antibiotics, hormones and immunosuppressants.
In addition, the skin contacts the air of the environment, and the toxins contained in it affect the cells of the first shell belonging to the second type.

Mucous cells. Mucous cells (moist, soft) form the walls of the first shell in areas not accessible to the eye without the use of medical instruments. Many of my patients believe that these zones belong to the internal parts of the body, but technically this type of the first shell is separated from the inner parts in the same way as the epidermis.
When we inhale, air passes through the trachea and bronchi and gets on the walls of the alveoli, where the mucous cells quickly absorb oxygen, because it is a very valuable product. You probably know about airborne toxins, such as exhaust and production gases and tobacco smoke, but did you ever think that it would be much more dangerous to have a pair of hairspray?
Varnish for nails and hair, lipstick, deodorants - all the traditional accessories of your bathroom and cosmetic bag, as well as the nearest beauty salon contain chemical compounds that do not exist in nature
Surfaces of the urethra, the vagina and the uterus are also covered with a mucous membrane. There are accumulated toxins contained in hygiene products intended for these areas.
Of all the first shells, the largest and most active is the inner lining of the digestive tract. To date, this is the most vulnerable place for toxins. Chemicals penetrate the circulatory system through the mouth. In the not so distant past, dental fillings of silver amalgam were often made with the addition of mercury. It took years before it seeped into the blood. Toothpastes, rinses, sprays for removing halitosis and other oral hygiene products also contain toxic substances.

The intestine, which is an eight-meter tube that connects the stomach to the anus, consists of two parts. The small intestine is about 6.5 meters long and 4 cm in diameter. The large intestine is wider, but shorter (about 1.5 m). When food enters the digestive tract, it breaks down into small parts and is absorbed by the cells that form the inner walls of the intestine. The surface of these walls has folds, which serve to optimize the absorption of nutrients. If you open and fully deploy the tube of the intestine, its surface will cover the tennis court.
They say that a person who lives for 80 years digests 25 tons of food during his life. Obviously, food is vital as a source of toxins that enter the body through the first shell. The related problems will be discussed in detail in the next chapter.
Modern medicines do more harm than good. They are not only toxic substances themselves, but also as a side effect contribute to reducing the body's ability to absorb nutrients.
Along with food, the walls of the intestine absorb the drugs taken. I watch daily how conventional drugs have a negative effect on patients. Beta-blockers, designed to help with cardiac arrhythmia and hypertension, interfere with the body's absorption of coenzyme Q (necessary to maintain cardiac activity, normal blood pressure, energy level). Statins, designed to lower cholesterol, disrupt the assimilation of the same coenzyme Q, calcium (necessary for regulating the strength of bones, blood coagulability and stiffness of cells) and beta-carotene (improving vision and strengthening immunity). Oral contraceptives disrupt the absorption of B2 vitamins (necessary to improve vision, optimize nervous system and skin health), B6 (helping to avoid depression, cardiovascular diseases and insomnia), B (prevents anemia and weakness) and zinc (which helps strengthen the immune system, improvement of smell and taste).
Vapors of hairspray can be much more dangerous than exhaust and industrial gases, and even more dangerous than tobacco smoke
Imagine what would happen to the supply of nutrients in your body if you, like a modern average citizen, took up to 10 medicines a day.
Even if you take 2 or 3 medicines a day to control a chronic illness, they interfere with the absorption of important nutrients. (For a complete list of drugs that interfere with the absorption of nutrients, see the corresponding annex to this book.)
If you take even 2 or 3 medicines a day to control a chronic illness, they interfere with the absorption of important nutrients
Medications play an important role, but there is time and place for their use. I prefer to prescribe them as a "bridge" that helps the patient during the transition period, when we are working with him to improve his body's ability to self-heal.

The second shell, I call the layer, located directly on top of the epidermis. It includes clothes and everything that we use to clean it, process it and stain it.
The bulk of the chemicals spent on growing cotton enters our body through food in which they end up as a result of feeding the cows with cottonseed seeds grown with chemical fertilizers

Today, most of the materials from which our clothes are made are treated with pesticides much more than food. Cotton accounts for 25% of the world consumption of pesticides and 10% of the world consumption of insecticides that enter soil, water and air, not to mention chemical fertilizers. Add to this clothes made of synthetic materials based on oil - acrylic, nylon, polyester and so on, which pollute the environment and contribute to the penetration of toxins into the human body.
Clothing made of synthetic materials still prevents the evaporation of liquids emitted by the skin, and they are absorbed again. In addition, such popular in the past remedies, like a sauna and a sauna, are gradually disappearing. They have not lost their effectiveness, and I recommend them as part of the purification program.
Many fabrics are treated with formaldehyde resins to give them properties such as nesminaemost, waterproofness and resistance to shrinkage, in particular this refers to bed linens made from a mixture of polyester and cotton. Go to sleep in a cloud of formaldehyde, and insomnia, not to mention headaches, asthma and skin rashes, you are guaranteed. There is even a special law requiring that children's clothing for sleeping contain fire-retardant substances that are toxic.
The third shell, slightly more remote, is our living space - dwellings and jobs. It is estimated that one-third of the planet's pollution comes from chemicals used in the production of building materials, and carbon dioxide produced in the process of this production.
A third of the pollution of the planet is accounted for by the chemical substances used in the production of building materials, and the carbon dioxide produced in the process of this production
This applies to everything that we use for finishing, cleaning and repairing our homes. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, air in the premises is more polluted than outside, mainly due to isolation from insulation and finishing materials, paint, foam, flame retardants, as well as dust, dandruff and sometimes tobacco smoke. Synthetic carpets are also saturated with chemicals.
Asbestos and lead could lead the list of household toxins that need to be identified and eliminated, but there are no less toxic substances, such as used for the production of PVC shower curtains (PVC), whose smell resembles the so-loved by many smell of the salon of the new car. This is one of the most dangerous materials used in the production of consumer products. The results of one recent study indicate that a high level of airborne toxins from shower curtains can last for more than a month - a weighty reason for purchasing shower curtains made of cotton.
Remember all the means that we use when cleaning our home, workplace and even a car. A lot has been written about household cleaning products and the connection of the toxins contained in them with cancer, immune system disorders, liver damage and many other extremely widespread health disorders. But you do not have to study scientific reports to know that bleachers have a negative effect on reproductive function in men, as well as on learning ability and behavior in children, that evaporation of carpet cleaning products causes cancer and liver damage and that air fresheners spread poisons in a dwelling. Just be guided by common sense. Any remedy with a smell capable of causing a headache disrupts the normal functioning of the cells, and should be avoided. And if all these products are used simultaneously? When inhaled, their effects are added together and cause even greater damage to health: from the fact that any harmful product enters the lungs, and not into the digestive tract, it does not become safer. The inhaled molecules can penetrate the bloodstream and through the lungs. Therefore, a long stay in a room with freshly painted walls, in a photo lab or in a workshop where they work with glue and dyes, increases the toxic load on the body.
Highly toxic stain removers damage the liver, kidneys and nervous system, it is better to completely abandon them

Toxic cleaners can be replaced by harmless, which care for the preservation of the environment of the company sell at quite reasonable prices. But often we do not take into account the fact that traditional cleaning products that kill "99.9% of microbes", according to their advertisements, called "antibacterial", kill useful bacteria that make up the microflora of the intestines, which protects our body, about which you will read further.
The fourth shell is a giant layer, ending with the surface of the air envelope of our planet. It contains an incalculable amount of various toxins, many of which are by-products of agriculture, industry and transport. The exhaust gases of cars and aircraft are released into the atmosphere. People living near highways and large industrial plants are exposed to more intense toxic effects. The results of recent studies demonstrate that several hours spent in an environment with heavily polluted air increases the risk of a heart attack.
Heavy metals such as cadmium, mercury, chromium and lead compounds that are released into the atmosphere and penetrate into consumer products are able to accumulate in fatty tissues and remain there for a long time in high concentrations, disrupting many brain functions, since the latter is 90% from fat.

Some of the heavy metals, such as mercury, can be deposited in soil and surface waters, from where they enter plants that then eat animals. Mercury in high concentrations accumulates as you climb the food chain. When people and animals at the top of the food chain eat fish or meat contaminated with mercury, they are exposed to concentrations much higher than those found in water, air or soil.
In the fourth shell, we encounter toxins in the form of electromagnetic waves. Some academics believe that the radiation from power lines, cell phones, computers and all electrical appliances that surround us causes the same symptoms as chemical toxins. The results of the studies link the effect of even low-frequency electromagnetic radiation to brain cancer and miscarriages.
Today, there is much debate about the dangers posed by cellular phones.
As the consensus in this dispute has not yet been reached, it makes sense to be cautious and restrict the use of a cell phone in situations where a landline phone is unavailable

Where do toxins come from?

  1. Where does human energy come from?
To understand an object in this world, we must first of all ask ourselves, from what parts the object consists and how it is composed of them, where does its energy come from and how this energy is channeled to the proper channels. To understand the car, we must first describe its parts and their arrangement, and then consider how its mechanism turns the energy of gasoline into a rotary
  2. Where does this great need to help come from?
The need to help comes from the very depth of our being, from that part of us that constantly strives for improvement, achieves perfection. In fact, we are already perfect - but we do not realize it. We consider ourselves imperfect, because we judge ourselves by appearance, by the external world, by what we do and say, and by what we know. We believe more than
As we have already learned, and directly from our own experience, skin problems are always associated with malnutrition, with poor quality products, with a lack of motor activity. But there is a fair question: why does it happen that everyone eats about the same thing, and skin sufferings - only among the elect? I will not say anything new to you, even, probably, I will inform the beaten
  4. What is a toxin?
Toxin is something that disrupts the normal course of physiological processes and has a negative effect on the body's functions. Toxins are divided into many different types, having completely different properties, originating from many different sources and possessing different mechanisms of destructive effect. Regardless of how you feel about this problem, knowledge of what is
  5. T-2-TOXIN
T-2-toxin is a product of the life of fungi of the genus Fusar-ium, so until the late 60's the toxicoses caused by this mycotoxin were diagnosed as fusarotoxicoses. Many authors have been studying the fusarotoxicosis in our country (A.X. Sarkisov, 1948, MI Salikov, 1956; NA Spivtseva, 1966; IA Kurmanov, 1960-1971, etc.). A fusariotoxicosis clinic was described in a large
  6. Diagnosis of toxin damage
How can you find out that you are exposed to toxins? Symptoms of this effect are manifested individually, but it is quite possible to learn how to identify them. I always carefully examine my patients through the prism of detoxification. Remember fatigue and Tony allergy? Depression and weight gain Kate? Robert, who is in his sixth decade, complained of unpredictable behavior
Classification of bacterial toxins. Louis Pasteur in 1887 conducted experiments proving that substances that are formed as a result of the life of microorganisms and are found in nutrient broth, you can cause the same clinical signs of the disease, as well as when infected by the causative agent of the disease. E. Ru and A. Yersin in their experiments in 1889 confirmed this conclusion.
  8. Disinfection of toxins is a function of the liver
Toxins and mucus that are released into the circulatory and lymphatic systems, as soon as the detoxification regime is turned on, should be neutralized and removed from the body. Why? Because they contain free radicals - electrically charged molecules, which, upon contact, corrode tissues and damage cells. In addition, they violate various functions - the division and reproduction of cells,
Each toxic molecule causes a cascade of reactions that propagate like circles on the smooth water surface of a quiet lake formed as a result of the drop of a single drop. These circles diverge far, as far as the eye can see. Similarly, you can observe the chemical traces of each toxin after a long time after it initiated a chain of events. But
  10. Quantum toxins
Toxicity is not limited to the sphere of food and chemicals. There is another kind of toxicity, the same pervasive and having the same effect on health, although this influence is more difficult to measure. Toxic thoughts, toxic attitudes, a sense of anxiety, which is a by-product of modern life, are all contaminants that negatively affect our consciousness and
  11. TEST # 1. Check for toxins
Answer the following questions and evaluate your state on a ten-point scale: 1 point - absolutely not or almost never, 10 points - happens every day or corresponds to 100%. Circle the appropriate score. The more points you have, the more you need to carry out any detox program. After carrying out the program, I will suggest that you pass this test again,
  12. Influence of toxins on children
Sometimes the costs of modern nutrition are manifested in the most alarming way. Unfortunately, the main victims of toxins are children, who, due to the small size of their body, receive the greatest number of toxins. When patients reject the idea of eating organic foods, I tell them about my colleague and friend Tina, with whom we worked together in Palm Springs. Thanks to her,
  13. Reduction of toxins
Consider all possible factors of exposure to toxins and stress and make the following changes in our life for the next 12 months. These are the most important changes that can only be realized by living in a toxic world. · Replace cleaning products and personal care products containing harmful chemicals with natural products. · Obtain a water purification system. · Purchase the system
  14. Toxic symphony: the impact of a whole complex of toxins
It is necessary to know the following: 1) toxins accumulate in tissues and cells faster than they are derived from them; 2) toxins act both alone and together with each other. Scientists admit that they do not know anything about how the thousands of chemicals we are exposed to interact within our tissues and cells. But we know that there is synergy when the effect
As we say about ourselves: "My body has accumulated toxins and the organs of excretion of these toxins with their quantity can not cope, therefore toxins climb out through the skin." All right, the body is not a fool, he tries to rid himself of poison as soon as possible. The instinct of self-preservation works. And that's interesting: it turns out that additional information is hidden in the containers with toxic waste.
On the day of the thirty-sixth, you chose between shrimp and egg. Today we can introduce into the diet the product that you left for this case. About protein foods We eat protein foods not more often than every other day, preferably less often - every two to three days. If you notice that the disappeared already completely failures in pressure or gastritis or skin diseases have become more active - cancel
  17. Defeat of toxins: diagnosis
Doctors who successfully find the causes of the symptoms are called great diagnosticians. One such doctor once said to me: "Usually we find what we are looking for, but we are looking for only what we already know." Now it is quite obvious to me that we are subject to a toxic attack. But during my internship in New York, despite the intense suffering and desperate search for solutions, I have never heard or read anything
  18. Tubulointerstitial nephritis caused by drugs and toxins
Toxins and drugs can cause interstitial immunological reaction, acute renal failure, progressive tubular damage, leading to chronic kidney failure. The progressive damage of the tubules develops secretly until significant changes appear. Such cases include analgesic nephropathy, which is usually successful
  19. Tubulointerstitial nephritis caused by drugs and toxins
Toxins and drugs can cause interstitial immunological reaction, acute renal failure, progressive tubular damage, leading to chronic kidney failure. The progressive damage of the tubules develops secretly until significant changes appear. Such cases include analgetic nephropathy, which is usually successful
  20. Purification by plants of air from toxins
If, while in the classroom, you constantly suffer from headaches, absent-mindedness, or breathing disorders, the reason may be not a healthy microclimate in the office, usually associated with harmful substances in the air. Such phenomena are observed most often in newly renovated offices. In the air, audiences (especially with European-quality repair) are in a certain,
