Overcoming hunger is part of quantum detoxification. When the diet for one reason or another is reduced, the problem of hunger inevitably arises. Some people are so scared by the prospect of malnutrition that they do not even dare to begin a detoxification program. In fact, this problem, as a rule, exists only in consciousness. If necessary, the body can go without food for a long time; It adapts fairly easily to changes in diet. Termination of the digestive process has such a beneficial effect on him that if everything depended only on the organism, there would be no problem at all. But consciousness can stubbornly resist until, after a few days of the program, it does not understand that it is possible to function and feel good, getting two liquid meals or juice and one solid meal per day.
Exploring a concept called “hunger” will help you free yourself from many illusions and misconceptions regarding nutrition. Perhaps you eat too much and are overweight. You may not eat what you need, and because of this, your mental and physical well-being suffers, but you lack self-discipline to change your diet. Or, nutrition plays a more important role in your life than just satisfying physiological needs. Almost everyone in one way or another uses food not only as building materials for the body. You are given the chance to understand what function food actually performs in your life.
When the feeling of hunger creeps into your body during the day or evening, ask yourself what it really means to be hungry. Can you answer this question? Have you ever been really hungry? Have you ever really "starved to death" - how do we usually tell friends, implying that we would like to eat right now? Most likely no.
The physical sensation, defined by you as “hunger” and prompting you to eat food as soon as you experience it, may have nothing to do with the body's real need for calories. Most likely, if you do not do anything and see what happens next, this feeling will disappear after a few minutes. How many times did this happen to you? You are sitting behind the wheel of a car, and suddenly you have a feeling of hunger. You are absolutely sure that you need to have a snack immediately. But there is not a single cafe, and you continue the trip. After 20 minutes, when the first gas station finally appears on the horizon, it turns out that you have already forgotten about your famine. Pacification prevailed in the mind, and the body is ready to function further. Knowing that this happens naturally can help you with the program.
If the feeling of hunger is mild or moderate, slowly drink a glass of water. Often it helps to muffle hunger until consciousness calms down. If the feeling is so strong that it bothers you, try the following exercise. Ask yourself a few questions:
1. What do I feel now?
2. Where is what I call hunger: in the stomach, intestines, chest, heart? Where is that feeling?
3. What is this feeling? Each has its own description of sensory experience, which they call "hunger." Feel it, watch it and try to identify its properties. Is it hot or cold, is it perceived as pain or as pressure, is it fixed or wandering, does it roll in waves or is it permanent?
By asking yourself these questions, you direct attention to this physical sensation, literally flashing it, to get a better look. You will probably realize that this sensation is not a cry from an organism that requires nutrients. In fact, it may be a completely different need, which has nothing to do with food: the need for company, communication, forgiveness, knowledge, the realization of design or safety. Having understood this, you may decide not to fill the stomach and wait for the next meal, provided for by the program. You can also do something to get distracted (for example, call a friend or do some business). Sometimes in such a situation, a normal walk is enough. You were “hungry” for lack of stimulation or change, and this does not come with food or drink.
Now think about how we satisfy hunger. Sometimes we are so busy that we reflexively stretch toward food when in reality we don’t need it at all. Sometimes an unexpected feeling of hunger causes discomfort, and we want to get rid of it in any way. Or we miss, and we have nothing to occupy ourselves, except food. My patients often say that they have learned to live with hunger instead of immediately quenching it, and this skill is an extremely effective tool. Splitting this nut, you will gain the ability to control the quality, quantity and time of meals necessary to fully meet the needs of your body.
DIGESTION BEGINS IN THE MOUTH
Chew food thoroughly, even liquid foods. Chewing initiates the production and secretion of saliva, which is mixed with food, starting the process of digestion, preparing an alkaline environment in the stomach, killing microbes and lubricating food pieces to facilitate its passage through the esophagus.

- Hunger and appetite
Hunger is the great guardian of a lifetime. It causes the body in need of food to look for and prepare it. It can be infallibly concluded that if there were no famine, there would be no need for food. Hunger is a natural manifestation of the physiological need, and when it is not there, we can definitely assume that there is also no physiological need generating it. Hunger is present
- Hunger and appetite
Hunger is an unnatural state of the human body, meaning that it needs to replenish nutrients. And their lack, as well as excess, disrupts the normal vital activity of our body, our health. Therefore, it is unreasonable to lose your body weight below the optimal limit, individual for each person. This limit for healing nutrition is established by itself and
Regulation of hunger includes many of the same homeostatic concepts as thirst, but food is much more difficult to drink. When we have thirst, we generally only need water, and our thirst is directed at everything that can provide it. But there are plenty of edible things. To be healthy, we need to eat a lot of everything different (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, mineral substances). We need to comply
- About the feeling of hunger
Now I want to explain the main principle of healthy eating. Diets are designed to make food moderate, to artificially teach us not to overeat, since we ourselves do not know how to behave restrained in relation to food. But the most important thing to learn is not to eat when you really do not want it. The feeling of hunger is a very simple and understandable feeling; it cannot be confused with anything.
- Second day. Meet Mr Hunger and Appetite for Life
An obese patient asks a doctor: - Is it really so bad to eat once a day? - Of course, if it lasts from morning to evening. So, behind the first day, lived on the path of harmony. You got the initial experience of counting calories and studying the "ABC of weight loss." Recall that today the caloric content of your daily diet is 1000-1,200 kcal, and goes to the "debriefing" and
- REGULATION OF HUNGER AND SATISFACTION IN THE CNS
The constancy of body weight is controlled by homeostatic mechanisms. In accordance with modern concepts, two interconnected centers regulating the appetite are located in the hypothalamus: the saturation center is in the ventromedial hypothalamus and the food center is in the lateral hypothalamus. In the neurons that form the center of saturation, there are glucose receptors. Post-nutritional hyperglycemia perceived by these
- Coping skills
The emotions and physiological arousal caused by stressful situations are extremely unpleasant, and this discomfort motivates the individual to undertake something to weaken them. The process by which a person tries to cope with stressful demands is called overcoming and occurs in two main forms. A person can focus on a specific problem or situation by trying to change it.
- Overcoming the conflict. Overcoming behavior
The forms of behavior aimed at overcoming the conflict, resolving a stressful (crisis) situation have been called OVERCOMING BEHAVIOR (in the literature there are also the term “coping” and a little-successful copy from the English term “coping behavior” or “coping reaction”). PROBLEM-ORIENTED overcoming behavior is aimed at a rational resolution of a conflict or crisis with
- The game and overcoming the "cognitive egocentrism"
J. Piaget, who devoted a large number of experimental studies to the study of the child’s thinking, characterizes the basic thinking quality of children of preschool age, on which all others depend, as “cognitive egocentrism”. By this feature, Piaget understands the inadequate delimitation of his point of view from the other possible ones, and hence her actual domination. Problem
- Conflict resolution technology
The technology of an officer's activity in overcoming a conflict includes several interrelated stages (see Diagram No. 3). Scheme No. 3. The main stages of the activity of an officer to resolve a conflict between subordinates Analysis of a conflict situation includes the following stages: obtaining information about a conflict; collecting data about him: analyzing the information received: checking it
