WEIGHT LONGER "IS POSITIVE"
The "caloric corridor" is observed
Physiological weight loss, or the so-called "step". This is the most common reason. The maximum stopping time can be up to 4 weeks.
(See chapter "The seventh day")
Such steps are necessary to adapt almost all organs and systems of the body to a new mass of the body. So praise your body for the optimal weight loss rate. Remember the folk wisdom: "when the weight stands still, then the soul grows thin."
• Take 1 or 2 days off-loading.
• Re-read the goals for which you are building.
• Pay attention to finding new pleasures.
Absence or stool delay.
If the chair is missing for more than two days, it makes sense to take laxatives. You can start with teas and tinctures, which have laxative effect. You can do enemas.
Menses.
Stop weight loss and even a slight (up to 1.5 kg), its rise is due to fluid retention in the body. This is a natural situation, which requires no action.
Eating strongly salty foods.
Due to water retention in this case, the weight may even slightly increase. This is a natural reaction of the body. Reduce salt intake.
Drinking lots of fluids.
If the amount of drunk liquid is more than 1.5 liters in the cold season and more than 2 liters in hot weather, then the stop and even a temporary increase in body weight is due to fluid retention in the body. This is a temporary phenomenon.
Weight is in one place, and volumes are decreasing.
Carefully read the previous paragraphs, most likely, the reason you will find in them.
• Check the correctness of the scale and re-read the weighing rules.
• Often during a "step", a decrease in volume is a harbinger of weight loss.
Accuracy in counting calories, counting "by eye". Subjectively, it seems that caloric content is observed, but in fact it is not.
For three or four days, pay close attention to calorie counting. Each eaten piece of food should be taken into account in daily calories, and count the calories to within a tenth of a fraction.
(See Day One)
Health problems.
A number of diseases, in particular even a common cold, can be accompanied by swelling and weight gain due to fluid. The use of hormonal contraceptives can also contribute to weight gain. In this case, we recommend that you consult a doctor.
The "caloric corridor" is not observed
High hunger and low satiety.
Pay attention to the principles of a balanced diet - "ABC of weight reduction" and "Lessons of Thumbelina" in the first and second days.
Strong appetite.
Unlike hunger and satiety, appetite is the concept of PSYCHOLOGICAL. And it is in psychology that one should look for levers of influence on it.
• Find new pleasures in your life.
• Re-read and, perhaps, re-formulate the goals of losing weight.
• Praise yourself more often, show genuine concern for yourself.
Stressful situations.
Recall that to stop weight loss can lead to a really serious stress. Pay attention to overcoming the difficulties that have arisen.
Intensive reception of alcoholic beverages.
A possible, but absolutely not mandatory, reason for stopping weight loss.
Lack of desire to continue weight loss.
The decrease or absence of motivation is a consequence of unimportant goals (how long have you looked at them?), For which you normalize the body weight. In the absence of a desire to reduce weight, the "secondary benefit" of extra kilograms is also important.
The decrease in body weight is lower than the physiological norm.
Determine the body mass index. For this, divide the body weight in kilograms by the height in meters, squared. An indicator of less than 25 indicates normal body weight.
Health problems.
A number of diseases can trigger a way out of the "calorie corridor". In this case, consult a specialist.
