WEIGHT LONG "STAYING ON THE PLACE"
"Calorie corridor" is observed
Physiological weight loss, or the so-called "step". This is the most common reason. The maximum duration of the stop can be up to 4 weeks.
(See chapter "Day Seven")
Such steps are necessary to adapt virtually all organs and body systems to a new body mass. Therefore, praise your body for the optimal rate of weight loss. Remember the wisdom of the people: "when the weight is in place, then the soul grows thin."
• Do 1 or 2 days of unloading.
• Re-read the goals for which you are slim.
• Pay attention to finding new pleasures.
Missing or delayed stool.
If the chair is absent for more than two days, it makes sense to take laxatives. You can start with teas and tinctures that have a laxative effect. You can do enemas.
Menses.
Stop weight loss and even a slight (up to 1.5 kg), its elevation is due to fluid retention in the body. This is a natural situation requiring no action.
Consumption of very salty foods.
Due to the water retention in this case, the weight may even increase slightly. This is a natural reaction of the body. Reduce salt intake.
Drinking large amounts of fluid.
If the amount of fluid consumed is more than 1.5 liters in the cold season and more than 2 liters in hot weather, then stopping and even a temporary increase in body weight are due to fluid retention in the body. This is a temporary occurrence.
Weight stands in one place, and the volume decreases.
Carefully read the previous paragraphs, most likely, you will find the reason in them.
• Check the correct weights and re-read the weighing rules.
• Often, during the “rung,” a decrease in volumes is a precursor to weight loss.
Error in counting calories, counting "by eye". Subjectively, it seems that calorie is observed, but in fact it is not.
For three or four days, pay close attention to counting calories. Each piece of food eaten should be taken into account in daily calories, and count the calories to the nearest tenth.
(See "Day One")
Health problems.
A number of diseases, in particular, even banal colds, can be accompanied by swelling and an increase in body weight due to fluid. Taking hormonal contraceptive drugs can also contribute to weight gain. In this case, we recommend to consult a doctor.
"Calorie corridor" is not respected
High hunger and low satiety.
Pay attention to the principles of a balanced diet - "The ABC of weight loss" and "Lessons Thumbelina" in the first and second day.
Strong appetite.
Unlike hunger and satiety, appetite is a PSYCHOLOGICAL concept. And it is in psychology that one should look for levers of influence on him.
• Find new pleasures in your life.
• Re-read and, perhaps, re-formulate the goals of losing weight.
• Praise yourself more often, take sincere care of yourself.
Stressful situations.
Recall that stopping weight loss can lead to really serious stress. Pay attention to overcoming the difficulties.
Intensive reception of alcoholic beverages.
Possible, but not necessarily the reason for stopping weight loss.
Lack of desire to continue losing weight.
Reduction or lack of motivation is a consequence of insignificant goals (have you looked at them for a long time?), For the sake of which you normalize body weight. In the absence of the desire to reduce weight, the role of the “secondary benefit” of extra kilograms is great.
The decrease in body weight below the physiological norm.
Determine the body mass index. To do this, the body weight in kilograms divided by height in meters, squared. An indicator of less than 25 indicates normal body weight.
Health problems.
A number of diseases can provoke a way out of the “calorie corridor”. In this case, consult a specialist.
