Step 3. Preparation of the body: exclusion of irritants

Before you begin to detoxify and restore the body, it is necessary to do some preparatory work. A few days of the elimination diet before starting the program, your body will get rid of products and chemicals that may cause allergic reactions or hypersensitivity, and release energy for detoxification.
Reducing exposure to toxins
Reduce your exposure to toxins present in the environment and in your diet.
TOXINS IN THE ENVIRONMENT
The most common sources of toxins in everyday life include:
· Automobile exhaust pipes;
· Chemicals used in gardens and on lawns;
· cleaning products;
· Heating systems;
· Air conditioning;
· Chlorine in swimming pools;
· Mattresses containing flame retardants;
· Lead paint;
· Deodorants with aluminum;
· Toothpaste with fluoride;
· Cosmetics;
· Pots and pans coated with aluminum or Teflon;
· Electromagnetic radiation of household appliances and cell phones.
Think about what sources of toxins are present in your home and office. In the house it is most likely cleaning products. Read the contents of the labels as you do with food. Purchase cleaning products that do not contain toxins. Start paying attention to where and when you are exposed to the most common daily toxins. Your kitchen, your bedroom and your garage, as well as your office, are likely to contain a significant amount of toxic products. If possible, avoid contact with them and consider how you can reduce their impact (for more information, see the Appendix “Program Resources”).
TOXINS IN THE FOOD
The length of this preparatory phase varies depending on your diet and lifestyle. The cleaner your body, the less time you spend on training.
Three to four days of eliminating the diet is enough if you have recently conducted any kind of cleansing program or have a healthy diet with a minimum amount of meat, dairy products and wheat flour products with the complete elimination of canned food and fast food.
Do not forget to purchase something that will help you overcome addiction to unhealthy foods, namely, raw nuts and herbal infusions
One week is enough if you are an average consumer and in your
ration includes foods in packages, red meat, fried foods, dairy products, foods high in sugar, caffeine, and alcohol. One week is the average time that people follow an elimination diet before starting a program.
Follow an elimination diet for two weeks if your diet includes a lot of fast food, canned food, packaged foods, carbonated drinks and alcohol. In this case, you can get the maximum benefit from the program.
Due to the preparatory stage of the detoxification program, the amount of caffeine and other chemicals contained in food that can cause headache, nausea and other unpleasant symptoms is minimized.

The preparatory stage helps to alleviate the health crisis: sometimes the body, poisoned by processed food and devoid of nutrients, inadequately responds to the elimination of toxins and the supply of nutrients.
The immune system and the recovery system suddenly begin to work in a forced mode, causing skin rashes, fever and a number of symptoms, so you may feel as if you are getting sick, whereas in reality they are signs of an awakening of the body. Although ultimately the healing crisis is positive, it causes discomfort and even anxiety. If you properly prepare for the program, after spending a few days on an elimination diet, then avoid this problem.
What you eat during the preparatory phase forms the basis of the program's diet. After this preparation, you will feel lightness in the body, clarity in consciousness and confidence in the soul that you are ready to implement the program in its full extent.
Frequently asked questions: smoking and medications
Patient: I smoke. I have to give up on this?
Doctor: In the course of the program, smokers and non-smokers experience different sensations. Some use the program in order to end this bad habit. Others find that as they become sensitive to toxins, smoking loses its appeal. In any case, they begin to treat each cigarette with great attention, just as they begin to treat food with great attention. Even if you do not reduce the number of cigarettes smoked per day, conduct the program entirely, knowing that you thereby develop your ability to detoxify and create a “clean canvas” in your body. You may feel differently the effects of exposure to tobacco smoke. Smoking affects the detoxification process, speeding up the 1st phase in the liver, and will prevent you from achieving optimal results.
The less you eat acidity foods during and after the program, the better.
Patient: I take medicines prescribed to me by my doctor. Should I stop taking them?
Doctor: If you are taking any medications, do not stop taking them during the program. Some drugs can be stopped without harm to health, but others are not. Some serious disorders require a constant concentration of medication in the blood. Any change in nutrition can cause a change in the level of absorption of the drug, which will lead to a higher or lower concentration in the blood. Discontinuation of drugs for blood thinning, anti-arrhythmia and epilepsy drugs, as well as chemotherapy reagents can pose a threat to life.
Do not stop taking the drugs that were assigned to you before the detox program, or ask your doctor if you can stop taking them for a while.

Step 3. Preparation of the body: exclusion of irritants

  1. Step 1. Preparation of consciousness: entry into the program
    Functional medicine is a medicine of wide views, drawing knowledge from ancient sources, and using the most advanced technologies if necessary. Each time, intending to improve any aspect of your life, you first draw up a plan of action and prepare for their implementation. My program is no exception to this rule. Although it is quite simple to follow it, after
  2. Step 2. Preparing life: daily routine
    In some respects, it is more convenient to carry out my detox program at home than at a wellness center, but this is fraught with certain difficulties. It is difficult to give up perennial habits, but the hardest thing to change the diet. When you have to make such sacrifices, we become sullen and irritable. Although the program solves health problems at a biochemical level, it needs reliable
  3. Cleaning the intestines and preparing the body.
    Before starting work on your figure, to carry out all the steps of the method sequentially, I recommend to clean the gastrointestinal tract. After that, the restrictions will be transferred more easily, and the technique will be more effective, and toxic compounds formed during the breakdown of adipose tissue will not be able to harm your body. This is not only my recommendation, on this principle.
  4. PROCESSES OF TRAINING THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM OF THE FEMALE ORGANISM TO FERTILIZATION AND PREGNANCY
    The process of fertilization and implantation of zygotes in the uterine mucosa is preceded by complex, rhythmically repetitive changes that prepare a woman's body for pregnancy. These cyclical changes occur in the period from the first day of the last menstruation to the first day of the subsequent (menstrual cycle), which has a duration of 21 to 35 days and an average of 28 days. Especially
  5. Pre-revolutionary situation: an exception to the rules
    "War is a man's thing." This statement has always been taken as an axiom and, of course, not by chance: throughout the whole history of human history, this is not the most noble occupation indeed being the prerogative of men. And women have always acted as a passive victim, military booty, at best - the long-suffering Penelope or the weeping Yaroslavna. The legends of the Amazons - by the way, common
  6. Approximate one-day menu with the exception of meat
    First breakfast: vegetable salad with vegetable oil, soft-boiled egg, carrot pudding with apples and millet, tea. The second breakfast: broth hips. Lunch: milk noodle soup or milk soup with pumpkin and semolina, fried potato cutlets, jelly. Tea time: fresh apples. Dinner: baked syrniki, beets, stuffed with rice and apples, tea. At night: compote or decoction of wheat bran.
  7. SPECIFIC RESPONSE TO NON-SPECIFIC IRRITANT
    Based on the assumption that the specific function of the tissue of an organ is characterized by the cyclical process of synthesis of a specific substrate, it should be assumed that any sufficiently strong factor influencing the external environment the tissue or organ will react according to its specificity, regardless of the specialization of the receptor. This assumption is not new. Even 200 years ago I. Müller, proceeding from
  8. Favorable aggression key stimuli
    Features of the context affect the assessment of the situation, indicating to the subject what meaning should be attributed to it (attributed). One of the examples of their role is the so-called weapon effect [L. Berkowitz, A. Le'Page, 1967]. If there is a weapon in the laboratory room, then the test subject’s aggressiveness will increase, but only if his aggressive motivation is updated. In other words, to key
  9. Impact of olfactory stimuli
    The human perception of odors causes not only recognition of their character, carried out by the cortical analyzer, but also has a stimulating effect on deep subcortical structures through mammillary structures. Olfactory stimuli with prolonged exposure excite talamo hypothalamic structures, which leads to the gradual stimulation of the sympathoadrenal system, increase
  10. Key stimuli
    - Objects of animate and inanimate nature that are biologically significant for animals. L.A.
  11. The body as a set of systems and functions, relations with the environment. Adaptive-protective mechanisms of the body
    The human body is a whole, in which the structure and functions of all tissues, organs and organ systems are interconnected. Changes in the structure and functions of any organ and organ system causes changes in the structure and functions of other organs. The main mechanism for maintaining the body's vital activity at a relatively constant level is the self-regulation of physiological functions.

  13. Analytical Paralysis: Step II
    Upon returning to the room, we headed back to the whiteboards with the following question: If there was only one step in the process that we could change with the improved spreadsheet, then what could it be? After a heated discussion, we agreed that if we could give the presidents a more flexible way of selecting and presenting data during the meeting with CF0, this would provide
  14. Squash step by step
    All parts of your breast pump may scare at first, but learning to use it is not difficult at all. Follow these basic guidelines to express milk for your baby. 1. Get ready. Assemble the parts of the breast pump. If you are using your pump for the first time, follow the instructions attached to it for washing and / or sterilization before use. Sit on a comfortable chair
  15. Step 3: find "where"
    At our disposal were interesting data that deserve to be studied. However, the fact that any of the players prevails in a particular industry was not of particular interest. Much more we wanted to see where business lines intersect, where companies act alone, and where the “brand equity” is in the structure of their revenues. And for this we needed to draw them all.
  16. Analytical Paralysis: Step I
    Just as in the case of the first napkin and the first day of work, we started with a circle and gave it a name. And, as in the case of the second napkin (on the second day), we created a circle called “who”. Since each employee ultimately responds to the CFO (CF0), analysts considered him the most important “who”, so we called our first round “CF0”. Then we drew
  17. Step 5: find “how”
    So, we realized where Thomson should be (in the upper open quadrant) and when (in two years). Accordingly, we still had the only question for discussion: How can Thomson raise his pyramid? Looking at the chart, we saw a clear way. Let me show this graph in the form in which we showed it to Dick Harrington (the then director of Thomson), since his
  18. First step: assessment on admission
    In most patients, only chest discomfort (chest pain) can be identified, the suspicion of acute coronary syndrome is a preliminary diagnosis. The initial examination includes ¦ Detailed survey and accurate description of symptoms. Physical examination is necessary taking into account the possible presence of valvular heart disease (aortic stenosis), hcmp, heart failure and lung disease.
  19. The third step: an invasive strategy
    Cardiac catheterization is recommended as a means of preventing the complications of the disease and assessing a delayed prognosis. The need and urgency of an invasive strategy is established after determining the risk and assigning patients to one of 3 groups: conservative, early invasive or urgent invasive. CONSERVATIVE STRATEGY Patients who fully meet the following criteria
