Step 1. Preparation of consciousness: entering the program

Functional medicine is a broad-minded medicine that draws knowledge from ancient sources, and if necessary uses the most advanced technologies
Every time, intending to improve some aspect of your life, you first draw up an action plan and prepare for their implementation. My program does not constitute an exception to this rule. Although it is quite easy to follow it, after you have started it, you will have to temporarily change some of your habits, and this can be difficult. After spending some time preparing your consciousness, daily routine and, most importantly, your body, you maximize your chances of success.
Gabriela turned to me after several gastroenterologists failed to help her. She was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, which is an autoimmune disease. She alone brought up two young children, and there was nowhere to wait for help. Her main problem was that because of disruptions in the intestine, she could not miss any public toilet that came across her on the way. The last straw was the case when she could not leave the toilet in the supermarket, where she went with the children to buy.
After a week of the program, she came to me again and said that she wants to stop cleaning. The point was that, although she began to feel better, preparing a therapeutic diet took her a long time. Her desires almost completely disappeared, but she seems to have forgotten how much time she spent in the toilets just a week ago. I reminded her of our first conversation when she told me about her problem and about the disappointment in medicine. By the expression on her face, I realized that she had realized everything. We never returned to the topic of time necessary for the preparation of healthy food. Without a single complaint, Gabriela held a three-week program. She still follows the elimination diet and continues to improve her health.
Thoughts about the goal to which he aspires, strengthen the patient in his determination to adhere to the necessary changes in behavior. If you do not get it, self-condemnation and self-punishment will not help. The sense of guilt is just as toxic as the emotions it causes.
If you come to the conclusion that you are failing, look at it as an opportunity to learn how to get rid of guilt, as if it is a material toxin. Failure is just a testimony to the goal. Practice brings perfection. Correct attitude is of great importance for carrying out this program and strengthening your health.
One of the first patients to be cleared was my friend Moshe. He listened attentively to my instructions and said with a serious expression on his face:
"Alex, I can never do that."
- Why? I asked him.
"I can not live without bread," he replied.
I answered him what I then said to hundreds of other patients:
- Do not think about purification as something that from now on you will have to do until the end of your days, which will forever change your diet and lifestyle. This prospect is stunning and discouraging to most people. Take it as an experiment. If you belong to 90% of the population who eat, drink and live, guided solely by their desires, the consciousness that after this experiment it will be possible to return to the old life will give you determination. However, I almost 100% guarantee that after the program you will change your way of life. Quite possibly, you will not want to return to your old diet and old habits. This is quite different than when you are required to do so.
Do not wait until the toxins are released on the whole planet - it may be too late. Do not rely on the treatment of symptoms. It is not necessary to stop searching for an effective remedy for the damage caused by life in our toxic world - act!
Like everything worthwhile in life, this program requires diligence and discipline. The first three days can be given with difficulty, but most people very soon adapt to restrictions in the choice of food and its quantity. A week later they already say that they do not understand how they could have eaten so much before. Often they note with surprise that they gave too much importance to nutrition. The detoxification program helps to understand what the body really needs in order to function properly, and how harmful our desire for excesses is.
If you have chronic health problems, please consult your health care provider before embarking on any detoxification program

From my own experience, I know that the people who conduct the program are changing to its completion. Their attitude to food changes radically. There is a reconfiguration of their taste buds, as a result of which they tend to be more healthy and more natural products. This is quite different than when you know that natural products are useful, but force yourself to use them. Let's recall the saying "You eat what you are".
Nature and food
Three meals a day is a relatively recent invention in the history of mankind. For millennia, our genes have evolved in a world where the alternation of food and hunger abundance was the norm of life, so the human body eventually acquired the ability to store surpluses of food during periods of its abundance to use as a source of energy during periods of scarcity. Over the past 150 years, industrialization of food production has made surplus a new norm, but our genes can not quickly adapt to it. They still make stocks at every opportunity, and such cases under modern conditions are provided constantly. This gap between the existing internal structure and rapid external changes underlies many of the problems associated with nutrition.
Products that promote toxicity and chronic fatigue, such as bread and sugar, have a magnetic appeal to Moshe and many others before they are cleansed.
But getting rid of harmful chemicals and additives and abandoning sugars, simple carbohydrates and stimulants, they have so changed their inner environment that they lost their past attachments. Their senses, cleansed of chemicals and sugars, find fresh products more appealing. They "hear" that their body prefers natural food. Bright-green broccoli suddenly starts to give pleasure, which was formerly provided only with ice cream.
Improving the internal environment of the body is much more effective in eliminating harmful eating habits than just the willpower or the power of positive thinking. This is a universal truth: being healthy and vigorous, you crave high-quality food that supports this condition.
If instinct pushes you toward a detox program, but you need motivation, watch people on the street, in the supermarket or at the airport. How healthy and happy is any of them? Too many frankly sick people. Sooner or later, half of Americans will develop cardiovascular or oncological diseases. The other half, apparently, will have other diseases and disorders that will continue to support the status of the pharmaceutical industry as the most profitable industry of all time. Therefore, thinking about whether you can successfully carry out the purification program, ask yourself: do you want to become another unit in the statistical data on the deplorable state of health of the population? If you do what most people do and eat what most people eat, can you expect a different outcome?

I met Frank, a forty-two-year-old New Yorker, six months after he underwent an operation to remove the gallbladder. Although he looked a little puffy, the treating doctor considered him completely healthy. But Frank did not feel that way. He was troubled by abdominal pain of unknown origin, and he lived in a state of constant anxiety, fearing that a malignant tumor manifests itself so. Since no one else recommended him anything, he continued to consume large amounts of meat, fatty foods, dairy products and alcohol. All this filled his troubled stomach and at the time calmed the mind and soul.
After a thorough examination, I made sure that Frank had a strong constitution and, in general, recovered from the operation, but the symptoms he reported showed serious changes in the intestinal microflora. All this filled his troubled stomach and at the time calmed the mind and soul.
After a thorough examination, I made sure that Frank had a strong constitution and, in general, recovered from the operation, but the symptoms he reported showed serious changes in the intestinal microflora. Starch and sugar, which formed a significant part of its diet, with the support of antibiotics, anesthetics and painkillers taken in the hospital, destroyed most of the beneficial bacteria. These toxins contributed to the emergence of dysbiosis, and now the yeast multiplied in the intestine secreted toxins that caused flatulence and abdominal pain. Worse, as a result of this influence, his addiction to products containing a large amount of starch and sugar intensified.
After carrying out my program, Frank, to his great surprise, restored the level of energy, increased mood and began to subside pains in the abdomen. Returning to their diet drinks with caffeine, red meat, dairy products and alcohol (1-2 times a week), he found that he again began to irritate the digestive system and there were pains in the abdomen. The less of these products he used, the less his stomach ached.
Then Frank realized that he misunderstood the messages of his body: the pain was not a sign of a tumor, but a distress signal from an irritated and inflamed intestine. Through the implementation of the detox program, his addiction to unhealthy foods disappeared, and faith in his health revived. Clearing the debris in the body, Frank began to have a tendency for a completely different, than before, food. Now he was attracted to fresh vegetables and other natural products, which contributed to well-being and clarity of consciousness.
In addition, he began to attend the gym. Frank once told me: "At last I felt that I was listening to my body and own it. I am what I eat, and I eat what I eat! "

Step 1. Preparation of consciousness: entering the program

  1. Step 2. Preparation of life: the daily routine
In some ways, it is more convenient to carry out my detox program at home than in a wellness center, but this involves some difficulties. It is difficult to give up many years of habits, but the most difficult thing is to change the diet. When we have to make such sacrifices, we become morose and irritable. Although the program addresses health problems at the biochemical level, it needs a reliable
  2. Step 3. Preparation of the body: exclusion of irritants
Before you start detoxification and recovery of the body, you need to do some preparatory work. For a few days of elimination diet before the program begins, your body will get rid of foods and chemicals that can cause allergic reactions or increased sensitivity, and will release energy for detoxification. Reduction of exposure to toxins
  3. The program of examination of patients with altered state of consciousness
Objective research begins with an assessment of the general condition of the child, which is the result of the examination, evaluation of the general type of the child, the degree of his activity, the adequacy of his reaction to examination, the position in bed, the state of consciousness. When assessing the general condition, complaints of the child are taken into account. The final conclusion about the patient's condition is made after the end of an objective examination, however, in the description
  4. Program for the psychological study of the environmental consciousness of servicemen
The collected results of the socio-psychological research were collected in 25 fire departments of the 6th OGPS of the city of Tula in the period from 01.03.2007 to 15.05.2007. As an experimental group, employees of the 25th fire department of the 6 OGPS of the city of Tula in the number of 20 people, As a control group, cadets of the 5th course of the Tula Artillery School in the number of 20 persons took the floor.
  5. Theoretical preparation of the research program
Each of us, to one degree or another, comes into contact with empirical sociological research as a radio listener, reader of newspapers, magazines, scientific literature, etc. Perhaps, he himself is involved in these studies as a respondent, i.e. source of primary information about the studied processes and phenomena. It is possible that one of us will have

  7. The author's program for training specialists for patriotic education and forming the readiness of young men of pre-conscription age to serve in the Armed Forces.
The implementation of this program is vitally important, as increasing the effectiveness of education of patriotic personal qualities is a condition for the readiness of young men of pre-conscription age to serve in the Armed Forces in the education system. The upbringing of the patriotic qualities of the individual is the process of forming the readiness of young men of pre-conscription age to serve in the Armed Forces, during which the individual
  8. ABOUT THE COMPLICATION OF DISEASE
... The juice of food, causing some disease, the wind penetrating spreads through the holes. And when the transparent juice gets into the hole, all its shortcomings in the appropriate way of life, like clouds gathering in the sky, will begin to grow and accumulate in their places. Under favorable conditions, they will move and, rushing along the six roads, will become a disease ... ... Each disease has its causes,

Upon returning to the room, we headed back to the recording boards with the following question: If there was only one step in the process that we could change with an improved spreadsheet, what could it be? After a heated discussion, we agreed that if we could give presidents a more flexible way of selecting and presenting data during the meeting with CF0, this provided
  11. Expressing: step by step
All parts of your breast pump can be scared at first, but it's not difficult to learn how to use it. Follow the basic instructions below to express milk for your child. 1. Get ready. Collect the parts of the breast pump. If you are using the pump for the first time, follow the instructions for washing and / or sterilization instructions before use. Sit on a comfortable chair
  12. Step 3: find "where"
At our disposal were interesting data that deserved to be studied. However, the very fact of which player dominates in this or that branch, did not represent a special interest. Far more we wanted to see where business lines intersect, where companies operate alone, and where their "brand equity" is in the structure of their income. And for this we needed to draw them all
  13. Analytical paralysis: step I
Just like with the first napkin and the first day of work, we started with a circle and gave it a name. And, as with the second napkin (the second day), we created a circle with the name "who." Since each employee ultimately keeps an answer to the CFO, analysts considered him to be the most important "who", so we called our first round "CF0". Then we drew
