Effects of toxins on children
Sometimes the costs of modern nutrition are manifested in the most disturbing way. Unfortunately, the main victims of toxins are children who, because of the small size of their bodies, receive the greatest number of them. When patients reject the idea of eating organic foods, I tell them about my colleague and friend, Tina, with whom we worked together in Palm Springs. Thanks to her, the winner of the national bodybuilding championship, the participant of the Eco-Challenges competition (EcoChallenges) and the mother of two wonderful daughters, I ran into one of the first cases of toxins in my practice.
Imported products go a long way and are exposed to a whole range of chemicals for better safety, so try to choose products from your area.
Several years ago, she called me and, with anxiety in her voice, said that her seven-year-old daughter, Annie, had menstrual periods, began to form breasts, and her hair was breaking through. I immediately sent her to the best pediatric endocrinologist who could be found to exclude the possibility of the development of a tumor in the pituitary gland - the gland regulating the activity of sex hormones. When it turned out that there was no tumor, the doctor, who was still concerned about the early maturation of the girl, suggested that she be prescribed a medicine that would prevent the production of sex hormones.
We decided to try to find an alternative treatment and soon, to my great surprise, we found out that Annie is far from alone. Chemicals in everyday foods, especially hormones in animal products, imitated the sex hormones that were supposed to appear in Annie's body only a few years later. She experienced artificially induced puberty - a sign of internal chaos, which caused not only psychological trauma, but also a general imbalance of the body. Tina immediately stopped buying anything other than organic products that received 100% approval from the US Department of Agriculture. Her food expenses increased by 3 times, but these costs paid off. Annie stopped her period, stopped growing breast and pubic hair - until the onset of the corresponding age.
The main victims of toxins are children who, because of the small size of their bodies, receive the greatest number of them.
This is a very instructive story that serves as a clear demonstration of how exposure to toxins in food can disrupt the most diverse functions of the body and how the body is able to recover as a result of a radical change in the diet. If Annie started taking the medicine that the doctor wanted to prescribe to her, she would receive additional doses of toxins, and her problem would not go away.
Believing that if it is good for the child, it means that it is also good for us, we drink milk and use it to prepare hundreds of other dishes. We are the only mammals who drink milk after the maternal breastfeeding period. It is the same as filling a motorcycle with aviation fuel - the motorcycle engine will fail. Worse, milk is saturated with hormones and antibiotics - this makes the dubious argument irrefutable. We poison milk.
Technological processes used today for food processing, so that they become “safe”, stored longer, matured faster and looked attractive, turn them into poison
There is nothing unusual in my own story of immersion in the North American culture of supermarkets and the loss of health.
Research findings suggest that immigrants changing their traditional diet from natural foods with a multitude of natural nutrients to the American diet, including high-sugar foods and chemical drinks, develop obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases extremely quickly. one generation.
My patients are often surprised to hear from me that the most common source of toxins is a plate of food on their kitchen table. Cereals, dairy products, eggs and soy are allergic to many people. Part of the reason is the modern way of producing these products using chemical fertilizers, antibiotics and pesticides, but this also happens because the human digestive tract is not adapted to digest them in large quantities.
Another source of toxins today is water.
Our tap water is treated with chlorine for the rapid destruction of microorganisms, and this means only that large organisms, such as humans, will die a little longer. Some plumbing systems add fluoride to strengthen teeth, but this is a known toxin that is currently responsible for problems with the thyroid gland, the kidneys, the central nervous system, the skeletal system, including cancer (not to mention the low IQ ).
However, in our ordinary water there is not only this. Carcinogens from industrial toxins contained in the atmosphere and in industrial waste, in significant quantities penetrate through sewage treatment plants into plumbing systems. A new danger is a by-product of disinfection of drinking water, resulting from the reaction of chemicals used for this purpose with the natural organic material contained in the water of the source. And that is not all.
Recent studies have shown that 41 million Americans drink water contaminated with antidepressants, hormones, cardiovascular drugs, and other drugs that enter water supply systems through sewage treatment plants.
We also forgot how to pack products in simple, natural ways. Instead of taking the vegetables, fruits and meat from the store, wrapped in paper or packed in a basket, we buy them in plastic bags. As a result, plastic toxins penetrate into the products. This is an artificial mixture, including chemical compounds - phthalates, one of the most common chemicals produced today, which give plasticity rigidity. We encounter phthalates everywhere, but most often they are found in water and beverage bottles. And although they penetrate our food and drinks in microscopic amounts, their effect can accumulate. Phthalates mimic hormones by chemical structure. Over time, when their level in the body increases, they disrupt the function of hormones. It is as if the dispatching service stopped working at the airport. Signals are confused, and chaos ensues for no apparent reason.
My patients are often surprised to hear from me that the most common source of toxins is a plate of food on their kitchen table.

Effects of toxins on children
- EFFECTS OF TOXINS ON HEALTH
Each toxic molecule induces a whole cascade of reactions, propagating like circles on the smooth surface of the water of a quiet lake, resulting from the fall of a single drop. These circles diverge as far as the eye can see. Similarly, you can observe the chemical traces of each toxin a long time after it triggers a chain of events. But
- The effect of iron deficiency on the development of children
Iron deficiency affects the energy processes in the cells of various organs. Severe sideropenia causes disturbances in brain cells through several mechanisms: a decrease in DNA synthesis, a decrease in membrane fluidity due to an increase in cholesterol content in membranes, and a decrease in cytochrome C-oxidase activity. Experimental study of the process of iron in the brain tissue showed
- Causes of diseases and injuries in children, their influence on the body
To prevent, child injuries and accidents, children should always be in the field of view of adults, not be alone either indoors or during walks. All furniture must be sustainable, pictures - hang firmly, electrical appliances, plugs, switches must be out of reach of children. On the territory of the preschool it is necessary to remove all sharp objects: nails, iron,
T-2-toxin is a product of the vital activity of the fungi of the genus Fusar-ium, therefore, until the end of the 60s, toxicosis caused by this mycotoxin was diagnosed as fusaryotoxicosis. Many authors studied the study of fusariotoxicosis in our country (A. Kh. Sarkisov, 1948; M. I. Salikov, 1956; NA Spe-sivtseva, 1966; I. A. Kurmanov, 1960–1971, and others). Clinic of fusariotoxicosis in large
- Quantum toxins
Toxicity is not limited to the scope of food and chemicals. There is another kind of toxicity that is equally pervasive and has the same effect on health, although this effect is more difficult to measure. Toxic thoughts, toxic relationships, anxiety, which is a byproduct of modern life, are all pollutants that negatively affect our consciousness and
- What is toxin?
Toxin is something that disrupts the normal course of physiological processes and has a negative effect on body functions. Toxins are divided into many different types, with completely different properties, originating from many different sources and having different destructive mechanisms. Regardless of how you feel about this issue, knowing what is
- BACTERIAL TOXINS
Classification of bacterial toxins. Louis Pasteur in 1887, experiments were conducted proving that the substances that are formed as a result of the activity of microorganisms and are in the nutrient broth, can cause the same clinical signs of the disease, as when infected with the pathogen. E. Ru and A. Yersin in their experiments in 1889 confirmed this conclusion.
- Diagnosis of defeat toxins
How can you tell if you are exposed to toxins? The symptoms of this effect are manifested individually, but it is quite possible to learn how to identify them. I always carefully consider my patients through the lens of detoxification. Remember the fatigue and allergies Tony? Depression and weight gain Kate? Robert, who is in his sixth decade, complained of unpredictable behavior
- Disarming Toxins - Liver Function
Toxins and mucus that are released into the circulatory and lymphatic systems, as soon as the detoxification mode is activated, should be neutralized and removed from the body. Why? Because they contain free radicals - electrically charged molecules, which, upon contact, corrode tissue and damage cells. In addition, they violate various functions - cell division and reproduction,
- TEST number 1. Check for toxins
Answer the following questions and rate your condition on a ten-point scale: 1 point - categorically not, or almost not, 10 points - happens every day or corresponds to 100%. Circle the appropriate score. The more points you have, the more you need to carry out any detox program. After the program, I will suggest that you pass this test again,
- Reduced exposure to toxins
Consider all the possible factors of exposure to toxins and stress and make the following changes in our lives for the next 12 months. These are the most important changes that can be accomplished while living in a toxic world. · Replace cleaning products and personal care products containing harmful chemicals with natural ones. · Purchase a water purification system. · Purchase a system
- Where do toxins come from?
Research results indicate that every modern person in the body in measurable quantities there are several hundred synthetic chemicals. These pollutants did not exist until the beginning of the twentieth century and did not play any role in the chemistry of the organism. We can safely assume that we are all burdened by the toxic burden as a result of exposure to synthetic
- Toxic symphony: exposure to a whole complex of toxins
You need to know the following: 1) toxins accumulate in tissues and cells faster than they are derived from them; 2) toxins act alone and together with each other. Scientists recognize that they do not know anything about how the thousands of chemicals that we are exposed to interact within our tissues and cells. But we know that there is synergy when the effect
- DAY TWENTY-FIVE - WHAT IS WRITTEN IN TOXINS
As we say about ourselves: “Toxins have accumulated in my body and the organs of excretion of these toxins do not cope with their number, so the toxins climb outside through the skin.” That's right, the body is not a fool, he tries to save himself from the poison as soon as possible. Self-preservation instinct works. And what is interesting: it turns out that additional information is hidden in containers with toxic waste.
