Objective: To acquaint children with the value of hands using the method of play and experimentation.

Materials and equipment.

Each child: a saucer with a small amount of a mixture of any two cereals with large grains (buckwheat, barley, oatmeal, etc.) or beans and peas; a sheet of paper, a pencil, scissors, a book, a spoon, a glass or saucer with water.
