Determination of the concentration of alkaline detergent in the water of washing bathtubs and machines

For analysis use a special graduated test tube with a lower mark "A" and the upper "B".

The course of determination. To the bottom mark “A”, 10 ml of test water is poured and 2 drops of a 1% solution of phenolphthalein are added. Alkaline water turns pink-red. After that, 0.1 N HCl solution was added dropwise, stirring the contents of the tube all the time.

If the liquid is discolored when acid is added below the upper “B” mark, then the concentration of the alkaline detergent in the water of the washing bath is less than the lower limit of the norm (0.5%).
This concentration of the washing solution is insufficient for degreasing the dishes.

If bleaching occurs at the level of the “B” mark and higher, then the concentration of alkaline detergent in the water is 0.5% and higher, which ensures high washing efficiency.

Test tube graduation. 10 ml of a 0.5% sodium hydrogen carbonate solution (Na2CO3) are poured into a test tube and 2 drops of a 1% phenolphthalein solution are added. At the level of this fluid, the label “A” is applied. Then, a 0.1 N HC1 solution was added dropwise and when the liquid became colorless, a label “B” was added.

Determination of the concentration of alkaline detergent in the water of washing bathtubs and machines

  1. Determination of chlorine-containing preparations in the water of washing baths
Monitoring the use of chlorine-containing substances for disinfection (bleach, chloramine, etc.) is carried out in the water of washing baths using indicator paper soaked in potassium iodide starch. The course of determination. A strip of indicator paper is lowered into the water of the washing bath. If there is chlorine in the water, the wetted piece of paper turns dark blue. From ordinary tap water, the color of the paper is not
  2. Determination of water temperature of washing bathtubs and machines
The temperature of hot water during the processing of dishes for the purpose of disinfection is carried out with a thermometer with a scale of up to 100 ° C 5 times for 30 minutes. The first measurement is carried out suddenly, without warning. Rinsing dishes with hot water below 65 ° C is a risk factor for the spread of infectious
  3. Hygienic requirements for drinking water, pool water. Water protection
Drinking water must comply with GOST and meet the following requirements: * Physical properties - water must be colorless, odorless and tasteless, transparent, have a certain temperature (7-12 °) and have a refreshing effect. * Chemical - drinking water must have a constant chemical composition, not contain an excess of harmful salts, toxic substances and radioactive contaminants.
  4. Determination of ovicidal efficacy of various agents
The method is based on the principle of determining the extensibility of anthelmintics and the ratio of live eggs in experience and control. We give the calculation formula according to A.P. Simonov (1978): where MA is the ovicidal efficacy of the drug (%); and, - the number of live eggs in the experimental, and, - in the control suspension; C, - the number of eggs taken to determine their viability, in the experimental, C, - in the control
  5. Machine wash and heat disinfection
During heat treatment, disinfection is carried out at temperatures above 65 ° C with an appropriate exposure time. The value A0 (EN ISO 15883-1, Appendix A), which determines the ratio of temperature and time depending on the microbiological contamination and the purpose of the medical instrument (for example, A0 3000 = 90 ° C for 5 minutes), is considered a measure of disinfecting effect. Structure
  6. Machine wash and chemical thermal disinfection
When processing tools unstable to heat treatment, chemical-thermal methods are used. In this case, after washing, a disinfectant designed for machine disinfection is used. The temperature should be limited at all stages of washing, as well as during drying. {foto17} Transfer of residues of cleaning agents due to insufficient rinsing For chemical thermal methods (according to EN ISO
  7. About bathing in cold water
[Bathing in cold water] favors those whose regime is perfect in every way. Age, strength and external data, as well as the season should be suitable for this. [Man] should not suffer from indigestion [of the stomach], vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, and catarrh. Moreover, he should not be either a child or an old man; his body should be vigorous and proportional movements. Sometimes bathe
  8. Equipment for ambulances
Equipment In accordance with the requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation of March 26, 1999, No. 100: 1) the main medical box-laying; 2) an additional medical box for placement of the birth package, resuscitation kit, infusion solutions; 3) portable electrocardiograph; 4) portable defibrillator with an electrocardioscope; 5) ventilator type “Pneumocomp” or (and) DAR; 6) inhalation apparatus
  9. Sanitary rules for manual and machine milking
Correct and timely milking of animals positively affects the secretion of milk, increases milk yield and milk fat. There are two ways of milking: manual and machine. Since milk production starts from almost all nipples, machine milking should be recognized as the best way. Machine milking makes it possible to give out all quarters of the udder at the same time. When carried out correctly
  10. Hygienic requirements for water
Hygiene standards for drinking water: 1. Must be in sufficient quantity. Organoleptic properties 2. It must be transparent, colorless, without any foreign smell and taste, have a certain temperature and have a refreshing effect. Harmless in chemical composition 3. Have a definite and constant chemical composition without excess salts, free of toxic and
  11. About water
We do not drink water now. In addition to a morning cup of boiling water - no more water during the day. You will want to drink, and even very much - but instead of water we will eat porridge. Porridge, even a little dry, contains about 80% water. If you are very tormented by thirst, then cook yourself more liquid cereals. “I understand that there is a fear of dehydration in me. I don’t know how to deal with it. Lissy say
