A.V. Pasechnik, E.G. Moiseeva, V.A. Frolov, G.A. Drozdova Inflammation and metabolic disorders 2011
The treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases reduces the levels of cardiovascular risk factors such as C-reactive protein and fibrinogen, established by American scientists. This is another evidence of the relationship of periodontal diseases and cardiovascular disease. C-reactive protein (CRP) and fibrinogen are acute phase proteins and systemic markers of inflammation.

As stated at the 82nd general session of the International Association of Dental Research (Honolulu, Hawaii, USA), complex treatment led to a significant decrease in initially elevated concentrations of CRP (at least 3 mg / l) and fibrinogen (at least 3 g / l). The concentration of CRP and fibrinogen decreased by 9 months with only mechanical treatment, and by 6 months with the additional appointment of an antibacterial drug (p <0.05).

Thus, in patients with elevated levels of CRP, the removal of dental plaque bacteria in combination with local antibiotic therapy reduced the concentration of CRP to numbers that are characteristic of low cardiovascular risk.

Today, we and many other authors are developing the effects of complex therapy on the levels of other markers of inflammation - cytokines, including effects on metabolic pro-atherogenic parameters.

Leonova E.V. Chanturia A.V. Wismont F.I. Pathological physiology of the blood system 2009
Blood is an extremely complex, especially vital system, which largely determines the integrity of the body. For a doctor of any specialty, knowledge of the basics of hematology is necessary. The pathophysiological aspects of blood system disorders for the clinician are essential. This issue is devoted to this manual. It includes up-to-date information on blood formation, disruption of the processes of erythro-, leuko-, thrombocytopoiesis, on the pathology of hemostasis-antihemostasis, on typical forms and reactive changes in the systems of red blood cells, leukocytes, platelets, hemostasis-antihemostasis, as well as questions regarding the etiology, pathogenesis, changes blood with the most common types of anemia, erythrocytosis, leukemia, hemostasiopathy.

The advisability of publishing this manual is due to the rapid development of hematology, enriching it with new achievements and ideas that have not been adequately reflected in the educational literature, the need to present them in an accessible form for students.

The purpose of the classes is to study the causes and mechanisms of disturbances in the processes of erythro-, leuko-, thrombocytopoiesis, hemostasis, antihemostasis; typical changes in blood cells, etiology, pathogenesis of various types of anemia, erythrocytosis, leukemia, hemostasiopathy; changes in their blood picture.

Objectives of the classes - the student should: .......

Tutorial Pathophysiology of the kidneys 2008
The “Textbook” presents in detail the theoretical block of information, which sets out the fundamental material on the pathophysiology of the kidneys, as well as test items with standard answers to them and situational tasks. The materials are intended for students of medical institutes and universities of biomedical profile, can be useful for residents, graduate students, subordinates and nephrologists, including for self-monitoring.
Tutorial Typical pathological processes. Pathophysiology of metabolism. 2008
The manual contains educational material on the most important section - pathophysiology of metabolism of the curriculum discipline "Pathophysiology". In the learning process, students are faced with the need to integrate the knowledge gained in the study of metabolism in academic disciplines in biochemistry, physiology, pathological anatomy, pathophysiology and the development of applied clinical thinking skills. The purpose of this training manual is to teach the student the clinical and pathophysiological understanding of the knowledge gained during the study of this section of pathology for their subsequent use in clinical disciplines. In the process of independent work, students get the opportunity to get acquainted with the generalized material of textbooks, in-depth information from additional sources. To facilitate the development of this knowledge, algorithms of causes, mechanisms and manifestations of metabolic disorders in the form of tables and diagrams are given. On the example of test tasks, you can analyze and consolidate the information received. Situational tasks allow us to develop clinical and pathophysiological thinking and differential diagnosis skills. The manual is intended for students of medical universities, may be useful for interns, clinical residents, graduate students and practitioners.
