The state of health of the population of Russia
The health of the Russian population is currently in critical condition. 180-190 million cases of acute and chronic diseases are registered annually in the country, while about 100 million of them are diagnosed for the first time. An increase in adult morbidity is observed in almost all classes of diseases. HIV infection is spreading rapidly, and experts predict its further growth exponentially. There is a gigantic increase in sexually transmitted diseases: syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, etc. The reproductive health of the population has worsened significantly. 15-20% of couples are infertile. Almost 80% of expectant mothers during periods of conception, gestation and birth have deviations in their health status. According to the estimates of many scientists in Russia, now healthy children who do not have any deviations, not more than ten or even five percent are born.
The greatest threat not only to health, but also to the socio-economic situation of the country as a whole, is alcoholism and drug addiction. Every Russian drinks alcohol per year, calculated on the basis of pure alcohol of 14 liters - the most in the world. WHO considers the situation critical even at 8 liters of per capita consumption. In addition, for every resident of Russia, even up to 30 liters of beer are consumed per year. As a result, about a third of minors, not including adults, are already beer alcoholics. Alcohol destroys not only physical health, but also destroys the psyche, intellect, spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical degradation of a particular person occurs, and in case of widespread alcohol abuse - socio-economic, moral, cultural and other foundations of public life of the state.
The real tragedy of Russia is drug addiction. According to various researchers, there are now more than 16 million people who use drugs in the country. It should be emphasized that drug addiction, like alcoholism, is prevalent mainly among young people, that is, potential parents, which is one of the main reasons for the birth of an increasing number of demented, physically disabled children.
Against this gloomy background, the problem of smoking tobacco, which takes the health and lives of millions of people, somehow faded. Russians now belong to one of the most smoking nations.
A sharp decline in the level of health led to a reduction in the life expectancy of the population in Russia, in particular men, to 57-59 years, which is on average 10-15 years less than in economically developed countries, the life expectancy of women in the country is 72 years, which is also less (for 6-8 years) level in Western European countries.
In his illnesses, a person considers guilty primarily the government, ongoing reforms, local authorities, the mafia, businessmen, doctors, and rarely himself. Many Tyumen residents are not interested in the state of their health, and therefore they have no true or no idea whatsoever about it and do not take any measures to protect it. These are mainly young people under the age of 30.
In the current health situation, the eternal questions “Who is to blame?” and "What to do?" Why did it happen that people in our country became so unwell that WHO experts estimate the viability of Russians at only 1.4 out of a possible five points?
Meanwhile, we have large untapped reserves for improving health, which have been quite effectively implemented in different countries. WHO experts and other independent experts, including Russian, have found that human health depends on 50-55% on conditions and lifestyle, 20-25% on environmental factors, up to 20% on genetic factors and only 8-10% - of the state of medical care. This important discovery was immediately taken advantage of in many developed countries. The effectiveness of introducing a healthy lifestyle in the United States exceeded all expectations: only due to a reduction in smoking, mortality from myocardial infarction quickly decreased by 35%. Since then, in the USA, Japan, later in Norway, Sweden, Canada, and many other countries, a healthy lifestyle has become fashionable, prestigious at first, then a norm of behavior, and later a mandatory condition (in Japan), for which the employee loses chances to advance through the ranks and may even lose his job. Many American and Japanese campaigns, whose leaders appreciated the role of employees' good health for increasing labor productivity, are willing to pay for various recreational activities.
Prevention of diseases through a healthy lifestyle costs 25 times cheaper than treatment, not to mention the moral and psychological side. In developed countries, people realized that a lot depends on their personal lifestyle, therefore, individual activities to preserve and strengthen their health came to the fore, a healthy lifestyle has become the norm for most people to exist. The result is well known: a high level of health, a significant increase in life expectancy.
Recently, the results of an extensive international study on health in the 21st century were published in the scientific press. The health status of the population in 100 countries was studied for 500 factors.
After processing the material, scientists came to the conclusion that at present, health and life expectancy at any social status is 70% dependent on a person’s lifestyle. Consequently, in the XXI century the influence of lifestyle on health has increased even more. These provisions open up enormous opportunities, without large expenditures, to significantly improve the level of public health through the formation of a style of behavior that will contribute to its maintenance and strengthening. In Russia, unfortunately, such work is not carried out nationwide. Many Russian scientists bitterly note the fact that the possibilities of a healthy lifestyle in our country are not appreciated by the state, society or the majority of Russians.
So what do we need to do so that a healthy lifestyle is not an exception, but a rule, an ordinary, normal condition, the infrastructure of our existence?
It may sound pathetic, but everyone who cares about the health and life of their fellow citizens, the present and future of their homeland and small homeland, should unite around the national task - the movement towards a healthy lifestyle, which at this stage can serve as a national idea. This is not about a peppy march with flags, but about deep socio-political, sociocultural, educational and organizational activities aimed at saving the nation from degeneration and extinction. First of all - and this is the main direction - it is necessary to stop the spiritual and moral decomposition of society, create conditions for restoring spiritual health, returning to the public consciousness the principles of decency, honor, conscience, justice, mutual assistance, compassion and many other universal moral values that have been the foundation for centuries normal healthy life of society. Without restoration of spiritual health, there can be no question of getting rid of many vices and diseases of society, such as, in particular, drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, sexually transmitted diseases, crime, etc.
One often hears that the formation of a healthy lifestyle in our country is a utopia, that, for example, weaning Russians from drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco is an unattainable dream of an idealist. But we never really engaged in the implementation of a healthy lifestyle. The positive experience of a number of foreign countries is the best evidence of the possibility of implementing the plan. So, Sweden, just 15-20 years ago, literally drank alcohol. Now, as a result of the implementation of a range of health measures, Sweden is a sober country. In general, more than two-thirds of the world's population live in sobriety. The experience of the fight against alcoholism and alcoholism in 1985 in the Soviet Union by the media on the order of communities interested in the production of alcohol was presented as failed. However, this is not true! Due to the reduction in the production and consumption of alcoholic beverages, the birth rate has increased in the country, and the number of sick, weakened, ugly newborns has decreased. Mortality has decreased - by hundreds of thousands of people a year! - people of working age, the number of deprived of parental rights has decreased by more than a third, crime, the number of fatal road accidents, domestic and industrial fires have significantly decreased. The list of positive results is much larger than those mentioned. But the press has inflated some negative phenomena associated with any reforms, and, using these specially selected statistics, the struggle for sobriety has been stopped. It was not common sense that won, but the desire of manufacturing companies to continue to receive super-profits.
The way of life of the population, public consciousness is controlled, or rather, manipulated in its own selfish interests, using advertising, producers of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, as well as films, books, magazines, stuffed with cruelty, debauchery, violence and other dirt. Active, real propaganda of a pathological, stupefying and already clearly unhealthy lifestyle is carried out.
In this regard, special attention should be paid to the formation of a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, youth.
The relationship between human behavior and his health is established. Behavioral factors explain, for example, an increase in the number of children and adolescents who drink alcohol and drugs, have sexually transmitted diseases, etc. The behavior style is determined by the level of education, therefore, health is a pedagogical category. Since health is 50-70% dependent on lifestyle, human behavior, then the formation of health by pedagogical means should be considered as the most important of the real directions of preserving the health of Russians.
In this regard, the training courses “Valeology” and “Fundamentals of Valeology”, developed by Associate Professor of Tyumen State University Natalya Malyarchuk, serve to solve one of the most urgent problems - preserving the health of Russian citizens and are aimed at fulfilling the basic provisions of the “Concept of the demographic policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 of the year".

- Unresolved problems of ensuring the quality of medical care to the population of the Russian Far East
The “shoulders” of doctors and nurses bear a heavy burden of responsibility for the quality of medical services provided. Russian society still perceives medical workers as a certain category of people dressed in white clothes and having taken the Hippocratic oath, who should work for the good of that very society, denying itself the most necessary. For example, in obtaining a decent salary
