The book discusses the patterns of occurrence, formation and development of mental states of military sailors in long voyages. An attempt was made to justify their originality and specificity, to classify according to the periods of the campaign, to determine the impact on the behavior and activity of ship specialists, on the solution of long-term navigation tasks by the ship.

The main attention is paid to determining the ways, methods and means of providing psychological assistance to sailors on a campaign. The book is intended for commanders of naval units as a guide for managing subordinates, creating a favorable psychological atmosphere among them. The book may be useful for the leaders of military collectives of all types of the Armed Forces, as well as for the command staff of the civilian fleet.
